Yeah anyone who thinks the real one is limited to 500yrds for your information to be a military sniper you have to qualify at 1000m with typically the m40 or other 7.62nato rifles. The record kill with th .50 cal is 1.5 miles first in Vietnam by the worlds greatest sniper then by a Canadian in Afghanistan. Also REAL snipers only carry the big 50 because of its anti material abilities and range. Other then that is a 308 Winchester or 7.62
