If you support seal hunts, perhaps I should come and club you, skin you alive while you're still fully conscious and only mildly stun, then sell you to some craptacular french boutique as material for a hat.

if YOU'RE going to say something so blatantly thickheaded, maybe you shuold be institutionalized...
what good would it be to the sealers to skin the animals 'fully conscious' and 'only mildly stun[ned]' ?
the primary resource harvested from the seal is the pelt (other include the Omega-3 rich body fat and the meat), so what hunter in his right mind would try to skin the seal alive? they would run the risk of damaging the pelt if the seal were squirming around. pro-seal hunt media: find it.

Here, I saw this before. I'm not sure if it still works but you could see that they are skinned alive. Just remove the spaces since youtube doesn't allow links in the comments. Ciao!
