i'am sorry but something is not adding up about this with me... he has been smoking from the age of 13 to 33 smoking 2 packs a day he had to have had the cancer for a while before being checked by a doctor and diagnosed with lung cancer to die nine weeks later from the cancer..this is just my opinion
Feel bad for the guy and his family, but, my God, how could you inflict a scene like that on your kid? I smoke about two packs a day and I'm 58. Started when I was 11, and have gone from smoking to not smoking many times. But I was an alcoholic for many years, and when I quit that I was a heroin addict and a crack head for about seven years. Let's face it, I'm fucked. I have to say, though, in spite of being an idiot, I've had a pretty fun life. Crazy but true. Don't YOU try it, though.

When I suggest my father to quit smoking he always say your grandmother smoking two packs of cigarette a day and she live more than 90years old so smoking can make people live longer. I can't persuade him.

I used Chantix to quit. It worked. Warnings? Bad dreams.? Thoughts of suicide from using Chantix? If you smoke you are already committing suicide. The bad dreams are not going to compare to the bad dreams you'll have when the Dr tells you that you're dyeing of lung cancer. Its expensive but well worth the long term savings that rack up quickly based on todays cigarette prices. Go for it!! Its been 5 years now for me. Good luck and God bless!

@DeeJaySkidoodle To be honest (this is no lie), in 13 days I've only had a couple of cravings and each time I've come back and watched this video. The craving soon went away.
You will only quit if you really WANT to quit mate (like me now - I'm AFRAID to smoke now). As soon as you want to quit, you will find motivation no problem. Cravings themselves come and go, but should only last a few minutes. I highly recommend patches - they really do take the edge off.

People always use "the case" where someone dies in their younger years. My father smoked for 50 years and died of liver disease, not a single problem with his lungs. I guarantee you there are more smokers that die at 60-70+ vs 30-45.
Actually you gotta wonder why smoking kills only around 1-2 % of heavy smokers under the age for 50, probably these people have some particular gene expressions in their DNA which gives them a very good chance of making lung cancer anyways.
ANd you are far more likely to die from cardiovascular diseases or cancer of the digestive system than lung cancer mainly caused by age (unavoidable as of yet) and a really big role DIET , look up the statistics if you don't believe me.

My dad smoked paulmalls-non filters for many years and he lived to be over 70.Marijuana isnt all safe either but at least it doesnt have nicotine. You will only quit if you really WANT to quit mate (like me now - I'm AFRAID to smoke now). As soon as you want to quit, you will find motivation no problem. Cravings themselves come and go, but should only last a few minutes. I highly recommend patches - they really do take the edge off.

Actually you gotta wonder why smoking kills only around 1-2 % of heavy smokers under the age for 50, probably these people have some particular gene expressions in their DNA which gives them a very good chance of making lung cancer anyways.
ANd you are far more likely to die from cardiovascular diseases or cancer of the digestive system than lung cancer mainly caused by age (unavoidable as of yet) and a really big role DIET , look up the statistics if you don't believe me.

Comparisons can be carried based on economic data rather than personal observations.
People from poor area's are under educated and have highest levels of disease based on life style.
This is a statistical fact that cannot be disputed.

@r0x3tt3 it's an addiction,no different than a gambling addiction, alcohol, drug,eating disorders.it's very easy to call someone a ''dumbass' who's addicted to something. i'm pretty sure addicts know what their doing to their bodies and loveone's,but the mind can be awfully cruel to one's cravings.

thank you for posting this video because it's a reality check. cigarettes should be illegal and i think the only reason they're not is so the government has a means of collecting money and controlling the population, think about how big our population would be if no one smoked

after watching this video i'm fucking done smoking.. i keep telling myself i'm going to quit tomorrow.. and then i wake up and i tell myself, i'll have just one more.. and then as the day goes on i go back to the start and say i'll quit tomorrow. I started smoking when i was 14.. and now i'm 22 and i've smoked a lot in those 8 years.. so much that i wouldn't be surprised if i got cancer.. when you're young you think you're invincible and nothing bad can happen to you. fuck i'm stupid
