Quite a few movie remakes and sequels coming out lately. This movies bringing a lot of hype with the amazing details in the 3D graphics and action seen here. The return of classic heroes and having Daft Punk create the tracks is incredible to hear. Cross your fingers that this brings everything you're expecting from this movie.

And if I'm not mistaken, the gal @1:32 is Olivia Munn. If not, she's still fine in that tron gear with short hair, hehe.

My friends and I watched Tron last night and it blew our minds!!!!! freaked us out! graphics are so good and the bet lines from Jeffrey.

This looks pretty kick ass and I admire Kosinki's previous work but the characters and suits look quite bland and non computer techish. Only have a stripe or two of glowing lines on the suit doesn't make me feel like they're in a computer environment. At least so far none of it makes me feel like its in a computer world other than the occasional colored stripes on the suits. I'm still gonna go see it, I just hope things look more computer techish in the end and not industrial designish.

one thing i was just thinking is what they are going to do for the rezzing/digitizing scene, what it will look like. i like how they did it in the original. i hope they will keep the "wire gird" appearance on the body as its digitizing and not just some kind of distortion-morph thing or some sucked-in transition into the laser.
