I love the NYC translucent powder...i dont necessarily all over my face..i use it under my eyes and on my nose and and in the center of my forehead as a highlight and it also helps keeps down the shine bc my skin is very oily...no it doesnt make me look ashy at all and it doesnt change the color of my foundation..start with a lil bit and build it up if you need more.

Do you have a preference for a foundation with good coverage for acne scars? And I purchased some of the "Fake MAC" would the MAC Fix+ help with applying it concerning the fall out? I know you know; you're The Queen! lol

I actually dont have a preference for a good full coverage foundation for acne scars...i alway wear light to medium coverage. i've heard that MAC Studio Tech cream foundation is really good, maybe you can try that. Yes, any kind of mixing medium will help with the fall out.
