@MrSouthernSurvival You can either eat it fresh (fairly soon after you catch it) OR freeze it and it will last MUCH longer. Just like any other frozen meat.
if you really wanna catch a squirrel take your 110 and put a bunch of pecans on the two tongs and set it on a fence and when the squirrel goes to get the pecans it will start cutting or chewing and then it will get caught it might take awhile to put the nuts on there but trust me its worth it.
