For instance, you have freedom to choose between Lowes and Home Depot. The feeling of freedom created by choosing a product, rather than making adult choices that affect yourselves and others.

@brendn1 Because I know what Devo have said about the song on several occasions, including retrospectives and interviews. That and they've always made all of their messages and believes very clear, every time they have ever talked about themselves. That, and even if I didn't, the lyrics aren't exactly difficult to figure out anyway.

The advertisement for the NY State government teacher's union was just a bit crappy. It's exactly opposite of what I want to see before this video.

....screw the public school system, and the united states'(and the rest of the western world's) 99% literacy rate...I think poor people should be forced to pay out of pocket for as many public services as possible, that way they face as many stumbling blocks as possible so they'll never have what I have.
I'm assuming you were either rich enough to go to a private school growing up or you're just plain silly.

@leeharveyosmosis I went to public school. I am honest enough to know private school out performs it. And it does so spending much less money. It also doesn;t force anyone to pay for it. The public school system is monopoly enforced by government. My comment was a statement on how ironic it is that the advertisement for freedom of choice was something I am forced to pay for...no choice. Stop with the class warfare.
