  • Hello Matt! i have a question, how d'you get the bell shape? obviously, if you can answer that here... Cheers from Chile!

  • how long did you study/practice/work untill you could actually make quality cymbals?

  • My favorites are the hi hats and the first ride. I don't know if I like that crash too much, though. The sound's not really for me.

  • u would like to know how this sounds in a studio

  • I like these a bit. Really like the hi hat. I'm a life lover of a customs, any comparison video would be appreciated, by you or anyone. Btw just a side note these are much mire eye pleasing.

  • I do like these a bit. Really like the hi hat. But I've been a life lover of a customs. If a comparison video would be possible by you or anyone, I'd be very appreciative.

  • Just my opinion, but I truly believe the best cymbals on the market today are Matt Nolan cymbals...all of the ones I've heard and tested sounded just great...

  • No way, Simon Pegg's doing a voiceover of this?

  • @BandAsphyxiation Ricky Gervais was too expensive

  • I would pay to hear Benny Greb play your cymbals!!!

  • This hi-hat is fuckin' beautiful!

  • Where Do you buy the sheet metal to make these

  • the way your drums are set up, I have to ask.

Did you ever play in marching band?

  • @SGDrummer7 No, but I am left handed. I've always played a righty kit. I suppose this is a nod back in the lefty direction ;-)

  • @MattNolanCustom Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

  • @MattNolanCustom I had a feeling you were a lefty! Btw how would I talk to you about some cymbals that I would possibly like to get made in the future?

  • @SGDrummer7 I can see why you'd ask, the tom arrangement seems to resemble the quad toms. I played them in marching band

  • hahaha my names matt and my best friend's name is nolan

  • You just inspired me to create things like these.

    Also, I think I came a little.

  • Those are hi-hats made for a god.. they look almost like they are etched in magma along the edges. Seriously beautiful my friend.

  • Those are hi-hats made to for a god.. they look almost like they are etched in magma along the edges. Seriously beautiful my friend.

  • Hey man, are you demo-ing at Beat2010 at Sheffield Hallam SU? Would love to see some of your stuff in person.

  • Just found you on an American site... up until today I didn't even know anyone independent makers existed making cymbals.

    Bloody 'ell, I'm impressed!!!!

  • Terry Bozzio would love these haha

  • How much does it cost to make one of these and how much would you sell them for?

  • @cokezzzftw Check my website...

  • How many people can honestly say they have made their own cymbals? Really sweet bud!!

  • I will pay you to make me a hi-hat like yours and a china -18'

  • @Vv2legit2quitvV Hi - drop me an email

  • What are the sizes of your kit?

  • @alzhaimar 8, 10, 13, 16 with 18x18 floor tom converted into the bass drum

  • Usually cymbals arent made outa brass... they break to eaisly and other things go wrong with them.

  • @KyleBlock2142 Who said brass? The cymbals here are either Bronze or Stainless Steel.

  • @MattNolanCustom o my bad i thought at the begining you said brass. :P thats what i get for listening to this at 1am

  • how much to buy?

  • The first cleaner ride is vividly chilling, and perfect for my taste. If I ever come to producing my own cymbals like you, I will certainly make the bells quite a lot larger.

  • he should hire some workers and open a cymbal company

  • these are some of the most coroful cymbals with chater i has ever heard and better then most commerical stuff I have looked for with character they sound mostly when I have enough money I would gladly buy tons from you guys I am int he U.S though. Phenomenal sounding cymbals

  • I want t make cymbals too!!!

  • The first ride was amazing!!

  • i like all those cymbals!

  • the second ride sounds like my 20' camber 2

  • I am really liking the 22" Smooth Stainless Steel Ride.

  • I like your video, and I really like your cymbals and gongs.

  • the crazy ways u make cymbals... weird materials and deep hammering, u should start making china cymbals

  • Absolutely awesome, Matt. The stainless rides have much more life and character than I was expecting. Seems to even take on characteristics of bronze. My brain is really turning now - hah! Just fantastic.
