Lightsworns never attracted Konami's attention. They're inconsistent, and his brother just happened to be lucky with all his duels with the good draws. It's true, no LS Deck ever will be consistent in the format now, so I highly doubt any card should be banned/limited except Charge of the Light Brigade, which is a seriously broken draw card.
