  • People have been led to believe lies Rowling has told of the stories origin. She did not create Harry Potter at any time! She did not originate the main characters, creatures, and features in the stories. She did not create the dementors, Lord Voldemort, or the scenario of the clash between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. The saying she says 'Ar-Day-New' was said by me to a visiting friend, Alan Page, who asked me many questions about my artwork of my Harry Potter stories! Joe King Rawling.

  • @earnamint Here's just one thing I picked up from what you said, other than all this Harry Potter bullshit. You acknowledged that there was a 1956 "Dennis the Menace" comic book. You also say you made a storyboard for a film called "Denis the Menace". That in itself would constitute as copyright infringement (using the "Dennis the Menace" name, even if you did spell it differently) and would mean you plagiarized that idea, just as you claim other people have done to you! Let me guess, you al

  • The Harry Potter story was created over many years by Gregory Ronald Simcock. The story and its material got stolen from Greg Simcock's Australian Home! Something had affected the authors memory while he, an inventor, was preoccupied doing other things... while his inventions were being distributed by foreign authors who were Not the original creators or authors. The inventor's stories, one by one, and his inventions, ebbed on the market. Jo Rowling is a fraud. Truly! artifacts.yolasite.com

  • @earnamint First you constantly say your work was stolen from your home, then you say it didn't and then again you said it did. You are clearly lying to the point you can't remember your own lies and claims. That is another example of your serious drug problems since you can't even remember your constant actions so your false and drugged memories make you falsely believe you created Harry Potter. Go get help at a mental hospital and a drug rehab program, you clearly need it.

  • Jo Rowling is a plagiarist and that is a fact that I know and you don't want to believe! I created the story of Harry Potter and it got stolen. I created the word Dementor. I drew the main characters, including the Lord Voldemort. I drew the key scene of the clash of Voldemort against Harry Potter. The truth has been said by me. When is the public going to wake-up? Rowling may have written-up my stories but she did not create them! Read the facts on artifacts.yolasite.com

  • @earnamint How did exactly she stole your work from your home? Did she beat you up and shown how embarrassing and pathetic you are or your arrogance and ignorance blinds you of how wrong you are? Does cry baby want a bottle? Something that your mommy and daddy never did for you by telling the lack of attention you had as a child. No one likes you and respects you since birth. Just grow up and get a life, starting a drug rehab that you clearly and seriously need.

  • @Yahiko25 Don't be so one-track minded all your life. I am at least being open and honest with you in what I tell you when I type to this site. If you think I'm going to reveal information to you from your one-sided comments then think twice.

  • @earnamint The reason you wont' give the information of how Rowling stole your work from your home because there is no such information, because your claim of creating Harry Potter is false and bullshit. How else Rowling and a dozen of other individuals stole your work from your home other than beating your pathetic ass and giving your fight record 0-144 then you go "mommy, mommy. JK Rowling beat me up and stole my work. Oh wait... I don't have a mommy to even care".

  • @Yahiko25 I have not suggested Jo Rowling came to my home and done what you suggested I claimed she had done that got her the information on the Harry Potter story. You have been told the truth by me, so work out what might have happened. If you are clever then maybe you will get it right. Here is a clue: I spent many years designing the Harry Potter concept, beginning with a simple story. It developed into a long story which I broke-up into five titles. It was being prepared for its production

  • @earnamint ... when its artwork and story-lines was asked about by a visiting friend named Alan Page. He asked many questions about the characters, creatures and their names. I was distracted for some years from my usual designing activities while inventions, publications and productions were made and marketed globally. Bob The Builder, Thomas The Tank Engine, Wallace and Gromit... and the Harry Potter stories. When I saw it advertised I thought it to be like my story but when it got aired on TV

  • @earnamint I was delighted by the film but puzzled how the story was so identical to my story, complete with the title name, the characters and creatures, the castle train, and story-line to the end. It was all of my stories story-boarded features of my story and I was more than curious as to how that had occurred. It would have been too easy to make a public announce then but I decided to give the author a fair go and wait to see the next film in the series. It was "The Chamber of Secrets".

  • @earnamint You say on your profile and comment times she stole your 'work' from your home and now you say she didn't? You're lying and you can't even keep your story straight so you can't even lie good. That shows how big of your arrogance, ignorance and major drug problems blinds you, even from remembering your own constant bullshit. Not to mention your arrogance and ignorance made you to believe your own propaganda and bullshit to try to forget your failed life.

  • @Yahiko25 I had not previously looked-up the stories subsequent titles as I was too busy dealing with the theft of many other property items and when the second film title was announced I noticed it to be the same title as another of my stories titles in the series of stories I had designed of the wizard boy named Harry Potter! I was more curious than upset but the program aired and I noticed its story-line was as my story-board of the same titles story I had designed, so I made a note of it.

  • @Yahiko25 This process occurred several more times. I was busy with matters of stolen property while the wrath of lies that had been told of the stories origin went unnoticed by me for several more years. I recorded a screening of The Philosopher's Stone and photographed some key scenes. As I ran through those images they reminded me of my story-boards I had designed for that stories film production. I was going to offer the story to Walt Disney but someone else got the benefit of that!

  • @earnamint You said in your profile and many other comments that your work was stolen from your home and now you say it didn't. You're lying again. You can't keep your stories straight as well as your life. You can't even get the facts straight as well your own bullshit. Dennis the Menace? the film was based on a comic book that was published on 1951. You must be the most undisciplined and weakest person in the world to let your travesty happen if this is true or not.

  • @Yahiko25 Denis The Menace was an old comic strip and I know this much. What I designed was a story-board for the making of a movie I named Denis The Menace. I was a cinema projectionist for nine years and in that time I screened about 1000 films. My drawings were many and the topic very many and my drawings were formed into stories that came together over many years. I marked my artwork in the designs I drew and the film is definitely one produced with marks as I had designed into my artwork!

  • @Yahiko25 Whatever dose you are taking it sure has screwed-up your mind. Leave it along. It's no good for you to take bad substances, as well as it's not good to try and beat my brain to a pulp while your on whatever you think with that leads your brain fare afield from your asteroids.

The stories I designed were well drawn story-boards. My claims of designing the story-boarded stories is very true and so your failing to accept the theft, plagiarism and fraud I mention is not important to me.

  • @earnamint Clearly it is you who is on major drugs and too dumb to see the bigger and clear pitcher. No one believes you including Yahiko25 so why you are claiming him is on drugs vs. the billions that don't believe you including your mom. You wrote that Rowling didn't came to your home after you claimed several times that you did, which is another example of your arrogance and drug problems that you need to resolve. You are too stoned to even remember what you wrote.

  • @toboebluefighter Why would you side with @Yahiko25 when he is in denial of the truth? You reflect his sentiment. I make no false claims knowingly. I post facts. My created stories, that got stolen from my home, have been written-up by someone and published. Jo Rowling has boldly claimed what was simply a write-up of my stories! That does not indicate or say she entered my home. I have not ever said she had. I know what I created over many years that I have noticed plagiarized! Comprende?

  • @earnamint How can Rowling or anyone stole your 'stories' from your 'home' when they didn't enter your 'home'. A lot of people have sided with me but your stupidity and drug problems prevent you from seeing that which is another example of your blinded arrogance. That's how blinded you are from the real truth, now some bullshit from a desperate attention seeking 55 year old child who clearly have serious drug problems and delusional issues. Thumps up if anyone knows that I am right.

  • @Yahiko25 Don't even attempt to show me that you are smart by siding with other web users who don't know any more than you! Unless you have a reason to try and tread where you aught to not go then don't go where you are attempting to make me believe you have the nouse to know more than me on the matter of origin of the story created by me before it got stolen by a bum then published by another one! The obvious and reasonable answer to your initial question, for the likes of you, may be; Magic!

  • @earnamint Wow, more than a dozen of people have lack of intelligence even with the best education and IQs. Says the major moron who falsely claiming to create Harry Potter and now people can tell how wrong and stupid you are so you have to cover your major embarrassments. Of course he knows more than you, everyone knows more than you. By telling the status of your stupidity surpassing your level of knowledge isn't too hard.

  • @AirBaguafreedom Join the school of fiddlers. The person who took my designs may know more than you too! Numb skull. I am not mentioning the theft of the Harry Potter story to let individuals show their level of ignorance of the status quo. I am not playing a war game. My claims are real. They are true and are based on facts that no level of intelligence you may sit on would quantify more knowledge than an ant has at hatching. If you feel big then tell that to a buffalo next time you're eating!

  • @earnamint Wow, people not believing your bullshit and realizing your high stupidity and life embarrassments and then you make another senseless accusations against them. No wonder you don't have a wife and no one respects you. Spreading your selfish propaganda and slander for your own arrogant gain and now that no one believes you and you have another embarrassment to your pathetic life story. You're an example of a result of poor education and poor parenting.

  • @AirBaguafreedom You carry on caring about your dispositions in life, as against other soles! With your ignorance being so much of a blanket on your mind it is understandable why you have no good in your area. You are not so smart to talk of the subjects to which you have no knowledge. To know a plagiarist and deny yourself accepting what is true. That is silly, as thinking up a story that came fully formed in four hours while on a delayed train. Jo Rowling came to mind when I said "plagiarist"!

  • @earnamint You see no one believes your propaganda bullshit. "That is silly, as thinking up a story that came fully formed in four hours while on a delayed train." She thought up the ideas on a train, it's easy. Not a surprise you won't know about how ideas work since it is clear you never have a idea in your life besides your wild slander for your own selfish gain. That is another example of your blind ignorance. Kept it up, show more examples of your drug problems and ignorance.

  • @Yahiko25 By the time I had seen several Harry Potter films it was well into the mid 2000's and I had seen numerous other films on TV which I had story-boarded. Films such as; The Lion King, Thomas and The Magic Railroad, Home Alone, Denis The Menace, Zathura. They, and many other titles were originally story-boarded by me, in my home, over many long years, being built so that I could get a better income than the pension I was then and still am on. I am the unknown creator of those stories!

  • @earnamint Damn bro you need to chill with this shit. In our minds, J.K. Rowling will forever be the author of Harry Potter. Nothing you can do will ever change that.

  • @Yahiko25 @Yahiko25 The reason the other three title names were added to the first five title names was because of the many questions my friend asked of my stories artwork that presented my stories. The Sorcerer is known as a devilish wizard, whereas a philosopher is an educator for the good of mankind. I had sensed evil intent in the questions I was asked, so I set a mark on my stories by making an alternate title name that would be seen to be out of place so I would notice it. I did notice it!

  • @Yahiko25 I was asked to read out all of the other titles, so I read them out, but only after telling my friend to read them himself, as he was pointing them out to me, but when I had read out the titles my friend asked if there were any more title names to the story. I thought that was very intrusive, as well as unusual, so I formed two more title names and included words that might make me see red if ever I noticed them published as a story. When they were released as films I did notice them!

  • I own so much to her... My eternal gratefulness to you, joanne. <3

  • @Dinny31 You owe Jo Rowling nothing! The story of Harry Potter was stolen from my home in Australia, written-up by Jo Rowling, produced with my stories components graphically presented in my story-boards, loved by the people who follow the plagiarist author. Jo Rowling did not originate the story of Harry Potter. Unfortunately people tend to switch-off when they hear the truth. If you want the truth you may find it here; mylord.amplify.com

  • blimey o'reilly, pretty sure she's focussing on the negativity... dementors, voldemort, depression.

  • thumbs up if you love harry potter !

  • Thank you J.K. Rowling for inspiring so many new authors like myself, who have created their own books or series. My goal for my series, is to bring readers back to a new world of magic and hopefully love the story and characters too.

  • @FTS57 With; Loyalty, Integrity, honesty... Don't do it the way Jo Rowling has done it... With my stories artwork and note-work forming the stories structure, the many main features, characters and creatures in the films you see in of series. An example of things are not the creation of Jo Rowling, that are in the stories she published, are: The Dementors, Dumbledore, Harry P, Hermione, Hagrid, Dobby, Snape, Voldemort, Hogwarts sch, Hogwarts Exp! Invisibility Mirror! artifacts.yolasite.com

  • GRRRRRR 3 DISLIKES!!!

  • @kiwigirl1100 They're probably all from "the original creator" up there who is eventually going to be sued.

  • @MIS315 SO BLOODY TRUE.

  • @pianor91 Uh...no. That'd be reporters.

  • Creating a unique creature like dementor's is original

But create a vampire who sparks... ????

  • Seriously, why in the hell do people even compare Twilight to Harry Potter? You wouldn't compare Justin Beiber to Elvis Presley...

  • @MIS315 LMFAO!

  • @MIS315 Thank you!

  • @MIS315 Mainly because teenagers like harry potter, not for its literary brilliance, but merely for its relatable characters

They don't see much in it but BOOM SLASH BANG WOLVES VAMPIRES fuck...

  • @MIS315 THANK YOU

  • @MIS315 You could man. Thy do. You're forgettin' about something called "stupidity".

  • @MIS315 such a good one!

  • harry potter- based on the struggles of a single mother going through depression and poverty. Twilight- based on a wet dream. which one do YOU think is better?

  • ive watched this more times than i can count

  • At 1:03 you can see one of the harry potter books on the bottem shelf :D

  • @earnamint My apologies. I meant no one took her seriously as a writer in the beginning. For the record I think she's an exceptional writer

gaiusscipio. You are able to see there is a lot of good that has come from Jo Rowling, and I know this and realize it too, but what I have said is all true. That must mean there are things you don't know for certain, without a shadow of doubt, are as you believe them to be. Being a good writer does not stem the fact that the Harry Potter story got stolen!

  • @earnamint did you just comment to yourself. And from what I read I already thought you were a Narcissist.

  • 3 times Stephanie meyer saw this video!

  • Why did The Lion King, Finding Nemo, get to Pixar. My stories got stolen and Pixar made them into films! Walt Disney bought out Pixar. If you took a great story (in the form of a story-board) to a company that makes great films and animations the product would be expected to be great. The Harry Potter story was designed to be a great film. The story-boards were very well drawn for the film of Harry Potter to be modeled on. Jo Rowling wrote-up the story, published it, but She is not the creator!

  • If you wonder why I haven't published of the many things I designed that have become products, as well as many films and stories, it is because I have lost so much and I am snowed under with the material I have to deal with. I designed Two and a Half Men and the theme song. I designed the story-board for the animation named The Simpsons! The characters in that program were designed with line-art I had from a fishing reel design I patented. I also had The Simpsons! My name is Simcock.

  • @earnamint Look mate no one is going to take you seriously because you have no evidence. And even if you did you show know intellectual train of thought that would make the complicated world of Harry Potter and Lion King. You show no humour so the Simpsons is out and you couldn't find your information without contradicting yourself let alone find Nemo. So Simcock stop being a Shylock. Or are you actually the one who wrote Shakespeare and he took credit for it.

  • Wow, Earnamint, you're so full of shit mate!

  • @DonMarkSaladbar If you blow your nose, perhaps you will clear it of shit!

  • @earnamint Your response to me simply proves how much of a pouser you are mate ;)

  • After several years I had; The Lion King, Finding NEMO, Dennis The Menace, Thomas The Tank Engine, Mr. Bean, A Fish Called Wanda, and many other titles. I designed one I named "Educating Rita!", but the first story I begun was of children exploring old castles in a forest with creatures and creepy surprises. That transformed into what I named; "Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone", but I designed a list of names. The same seven title names, I formed, have been published by Jo Rowling!!!

  • @earnamint As if anyone will ever take you seriously. You claim the story boards were created first, correct? As in BEFORE the books were published? So a multimillion dollar production company decided to steal your story boards and then hand them off to an obscure writer who had no notoriety (at the time) and wait a good 15 years for her to create a book series so they could make films based off it? Grow up and stop riding the coattails of those more talented than you...

  • @kwazam1313 You don't know what I do, so don't think you can outsmart me by your misinformed remarks to my posted articles. For one thing I am older than Jo Rowling and have served nine years in the Army as a cinema projectionist. I am also an inventor. Until the theft of my story-boards drawings I was always very happy and content with my position and stature in my life. It took me ~17 years to design the stories structure and artwork. Rowling was inspired by something after my art got stolen!

  • @earnamint LOL ok. So the evidence to your argument is that youre older, served in the army as a "cinema projectionist" (whatever the hell that means), and invented shit that other people have already made? Get a life.

And if JK really did steal your story boards (which NO ONE including myself will ever believe), she made it DRAMATICALLY better. So get over it.

  • @kwazam1313 lol don't feed the troll.

  • I realized that I had to take seven years to achieve my goal of writing a story, but I was in the Army and that was my first priority and as I had signed-up for a six year period I was well aware I could not take-on another job, so I designed, drew many things, and formed many stories concepts and privately worked on those things without any intention to release them while serving my country. When I could not sign on again, after nine years, I began drawing my stories and forming my inventions.

  • If you write down my credentials and my past working environment (an inventor, soldier, projectionist, film librarian, nine years in the Australian Army, an artist, often drawing or designing, living by the sea, in a sunny location, a happy childhood, very intelligent) and write Joanne Rowling's credentials and compare the two you might begin to see what is going to make your face red. My initials are designed in the graphic name of 'Harry Potter' for a good reason... as I designed the graphic!

  • I am too stressed and preoccupied with research into matters arising since the theft of my art. My inventions were private works of art and designs. The theft of one story's manuscript could be considered serious, but the loss of one mans private working life's creations in the form of thousands of drawings forming hundreds of stories, about 1000 inventions (the art was used to build upon the authors stories and was intended to create an income for the author!), cannot be simply dealt with.

  • Jo Rowling has written-up the story which an Australian creator, Greg Simcock (author: J.K. Rawling) built over seventeen years! Read the facts about the stories origin at; mylord.amplify.com if you want to know the real origins of Harry Potter. In this documentary Rowling talks about how miserable her life was before she got inspired to write the story. The death of her mother is said to have influenced her to to write of the Dementor's. That is a lie. Greg Simcock designed the Dementors!

  • @earnamint Ah yes Mr Simcock must have been a true genius according to him he says he was also the creator of these stories as well; "Some stories I had in their final stages.... included; Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone. There was; 'The Lion King', 'Finding NEMO', ‘Thomas The Tank Engine', 'Thomas and the Magic Railroad', ’Dennis the Menace', Mr. Bean, to name just a few of my stories. There were many adult stories story-boarded for making books or films." His words not mine.

  • @earnamint Oh my bad, you're actually Mr Simcock aren't you? A true honor to meet such a creative genius

  • Yes! I am Greg Simcock, and I did do what I have said I have done. A projectionist, I was, for nine years. In my working environment I had many things available to me. The projector lamps were 1000 watt. With the bright light, sounds of the projector, the dimmer system for the house lights, the remote-controlled curtains by the screen, quadraphonic sound system, the film and audience. I had great working conditions. Twas never time to be as miserable as Jo Rowling! I even have my integrity!

  • @earnamint Could you explain something to me. You say you created the Lion King, Nemo and Harry Potter and then your work was stolen. Somehow the Lion King and Nemo end up in the hands of Disney and Pixar two of the biggest studios in the world and both located in the US. However, Harry Potter ends up in the hands of a poor single mother living in Scotland and dependent on state assistance who no one takes seriously as a writer. How did that happen? And why didn't you sue Disney and Pixar?

  • @gaiusscipio From what I have said, in response to your queries, you may realize the reason I haven't brought to the fore the matters of design theft, plagiarism, and copyright infringement. It requires a lot of consideration and planning before taking legal action. Everything I reveal in my messages is true. I will not deceive the people in the same manner Rowling has done. You have inferred no one takes "Jo Rowling" seriously as a writer, but I do, and I understand your sentiment.

  • @earnamint My apologies. I meant no one took her seriously as a writer in the beginning. For the record I think she's an exceptional writer

  • Does anybody know where I can find the music that is used in the beginning of this video?

  • This video includes music as like it is a daytime soap drama. It has been designed to get the viewers to feel sorrowed by the depressive dialogue. Jo Rowling is a very good actress. A fact: I created the Harry Potter stories and more! You don't know this, but my stories have now been told... by a plagiarist named Joanne Rowling. She has not, to my knowledge, ever told you where she really got the material that formed the Harry Potter stories before hand! Why? Find out here: mylord.amplify.com

  • @earnamint

    Riight.

  • while i personally wouldn't have minded a narrator with a british accent, my parents, for whom english is a second language, wouldn't have been able to understand a thing the british narrator said. they sometimes struggle with movies and etc, and i find myself "translating" for them. i think maybe this decision was just made to simplify things, because while most americans speak english, it's not always the easiest language for everyone.

  • Aww!

  • 'you think the dead we have loved ever truly leave us..' i sobbed so much at that part, oh dear

  • Does anyone else wonder why the videos are split into such short parts? why only 5 minutes? just saying the parts could have been doubled in length

  • @butathousandwords Him and me together then. As much as I loved the books, "A year in life" really doesn't live up to my expectations. Makes me like Harry Potter LESS which really ought to earn it a dislike.

(And for crying out loud, jokes about the dislikers are so worn out they ought to be punishable with permaban)

  • would just like to say you don't pronounce the Portuguese name Jorge HOR-HEY you pronounce it the same way you would pronounce George

  • I'm so thankful that JK Rowling wrote about the dementors as a metaphor for depression. It's really an excellent evocation of the pain of this illness. Perhaps more people can understand what it's like now.

  • Aaaaaaaaaaand this is why Harry Potter is so much better than Twilight.

  • @sofaleaver1 why are you even bringing up twilight on here ? it has nothing to do with harry potter whatsoever

  • @TheKendyl123 i wrote that 6 months ago i don't even know why

probably because there's always been that competition between them

    idk i was a bellend

  • @sofaleaver1 the two are not even comparable

  • @ekbowler okay thanks for your input

  • @ekbowler and that just shows your ignorance of literature. any book is comparable with another book. Twilight is fiction, with monsters and romance, Harry Potter is fiction, with monsters, wizards, and romance--the two are definitely comparable. The only thing that sets them apart is how much better HP is; it's on a completely different level.

  • @TaneTv15 you're both literal and can't tell a joke when you read it. So let me restate my earlier comment.

Harry Potter is in a completely different league then twilight. the two do not even come close to matching at all.

I would put in more insults to twilight, but I haven't read the series, just heard what others have said of it. So I won't insult it anymore then I already have. To insult it more would need a knowledge of it, and I do not want to read it.

  • @ekbowler Yes, what an idiot I am! It was completely obvious that the comment "the two aren't even comparable" was a joke.... *shakes head*.

And just so you aren't confused, most people CAN'T tell if someone is joking or not online, seeing as they can't hear the tone of their voice (shocker, I know). Regardless, your comment was obviously not a joke, no matter what you say otherwise.

  • @TaneTv15 when did I call you an idiot? I have read plenty of comments that were sarcastic and joking that were easy to read, apparently mine wasn't, and I apologize for that.

  • The movie clips are soo much creepier and scary in this context

  • *Please, in all seriousness, someone needs to tell me what the song is in the background, thanks!*

  • What song is that in the backround?????

  • i would pay a british person to read me the books just for the accent

  • @cbk52408 You can always buy UK audiobooks : ).

  • @rorita27q ahaha how could i have not thought of that , thank you

  • @cbk52408 Hi i'm from London, i'll do it for free.

  • What I would'nt give to see whats going on in her head.

  • It's so weird hearing her referred to as "Joanne"--I always either think of her as "Jo".

  • Goodness, Americans really do suck the soul out of everything, and dramatise the slightest aspect of life. Eugh.

  • Seriously? What's the point in re-narrating it with an American woman? Why not just have kept James' voice?

  • This woman is full of talent. =]=]=]

  • what inspired her to right harry potter?

Where did she get the idea for harry himself?

How did she know to make harry with glasses(ect.)

    just asking :)

  • @gigieeatsclowns One day, she was out looking for flats when her train got delayed. In that time, an idea popped into her head: she describes it initially as being "boy doesn't know he's a wizard, goes to Wizarding school" and the rest just came to her. Harry just came to her. Those things just happen to writers; there's not always a specific event or place you get ideas from.

  • @LemonFairyLili she also ripped off a series of childrens books created a decade prior about wizards and wizard school!!!

  • @crackfiendables NO SHE DID NOT.

  • @crackfiendables Oh, you mean that book that's only 60 pages long that was written 30 years ago? I read that, and even by children's picture-book standards it had a lame plot. And there was pretty much nothing in common with the Harry Potter series. Besides, having schools for wizards isn't a new concept, its not like it was just thought up recently. I've read over a dozen different series that have wizard/magic schools

  • it's so annoying how the journalist pronounces Jorge, the name of J. K. Rowling first husband because he's portuguese (so am I) and that's how you say it in spanish not in portuguese. We don't read the J like that, we read almost the same as in english actually -.-

    anyway I love this docummentary

  • is that stephen fry at 0:27 ????? LOVE HIM

  • Was the part when she was in the church skipped?

  • The more I learn about her, the more I admire her. (As if I didn't admire her enough).

  • voldemorts voice in the movie is too warm

  • god she ses harry potter in the most annoying way! like Hyarry potter! its so irritating!

  • Honestly, I think Deathly Hallows was the most anticipated book of the decade.

  • dementors are brilliant

  • She's awesome

  • Again, wonderful documentary, wonderful posting, thank you iodine24!

  • Cheesy how Elizabeth voices over James Runcie's original narration so it seems like she herself was actively involved in the production, when in fact she had nothing to do with it. Perhaps it was thought that having a British man narrating would limit viewership. pff!

  • @bridgestm A british accent sounds really funny or strange if you aren't used to it,

  • @bridgestm 110% agreed

  • @bridgestm Yeah this sucks. Can we get the real version please?

  • @bridgestm .....haven't seen it with the original narrator but yea, that is stupid, knowing that there are hundreds of british people working in TV stations and so on here in the US. It's like we've never heard the accent lol

  • @bridgestm I totally agree! its kinda insulting, like their trying to say the american public cant understand a British accent. its the same way they changed the books to 'fit' the american readers, calling the philosophers stone the sorcerers stone and changing things like torch to flashlight and pavement to sidewalk within the books. americans arnt stupid im sure they would have still understood the books, afterall the movies have an all British cast and they were received quite well!

  • @osehietomi123 Watch what you said about the all British cast. There is quite a few people outside of Britain that are on the cast.

  • @idolfreak7 i was letting my rant get the better of me! lol but majority of the main cast is british (as requested by j.k rowling). the point i was trying to make was, it is mainly a british movie with most of the cast members speaking in a british accent and using british colloquialisms and it was very well recieved in America without having to do any american voice overs or change any of the words. so why do they feel the need to market it that way in america?

  • I am Australian. I screened many films while serving as a projectionist in the Army. I designed the Harry Potter stories and much artwork! It was a well developed story that got stolen! True! The1'st title was: "Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone". When a visiting friend picked up and opened my design folder, and began to ask details of the stories 'five' title names, asking if there are any more titles, I added a variation to the 1'st title, for the US market, and two extra titles!

  • @earnamint Suuuuuuuure you did.

  • @bridgestm I agree, and I'm American. British narrators are just so much more fun to listen to.

  • @bridgestm And also that a lot of Americans (I'm not trying to offend anyone here) doesn't understand English accents.

  • @bridgestm AGREED!!!!! It seems so fake with Elizabeth Vargas' voice over Jame's Runcies....

  • @bridgestm blame ABC for that

  • Even though now I struggle to keep the obsession, every time I watch this, I have to read the series again.

  • dementor. demon, tormentor.

    :O

  • I always thought the word Dementor came from "Dementia" whcih is a desease of the brain

  • i thought so too :)

dementor makes people lose their minds...

  • .......A dementor takes your Soul, not your mind......

  • she made it up, because the love (relationship) did not work out.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Missed it while I was in music camp. And it only makes this that more poignant now..knowing the pain she suffered and her ability to put it in words.bless you, rowling, for helping me grieve as well through your literature.
