  • this is awesome but how the heck could you even make somethin like this

  • Me and my dad are thinking about trying to make copper tube art. Though I have no idea as to what tools I need that would be affordable-by my father def minimal required tools. Interesting sculpture by the way. =D

  • If you go to my cappspw channel and watch video 1, I go over all the tools you will need to build a basic sculpture. There are 14 videos total that show building a copper rolling ball sculpture from beginning to end. Thanks, Chris,

  • Thank you Sir for such an awesome video

  • Thanks for looking. The rails are a little over an 8th inch. (don't know the gauge size)The hoops are made by wrapping a piece of wire around a pvc pipe. The tricky part is soldering the hoops to the wires without it all falling apart. I hope to have another vid of a small desktop rbs in a week or so. I am working on another piece that should run for at least an hour right now with loops and bells using the 11mm balls. Thanks very much for the interest.

  • Man, this is great stuff! I dig the plumbing pipe as a frame. What gauge wire are you using for the rails? Very nice bends. I can't tell - are the rings you use to connect the rails pre-formed, or do you make the loops yourself? Again, nice work!

  • close to 100'. thanks for looking.

  • Very nice. Do you know how far the balls are traveling?
