Great review, Wii Resort is a great game, i like the sword fighting.

I'm glad that Nintendo decided to concentrate in improving the controls instead of the graphics in the WII.

After all they first achieve 3D games with the N64, then a bit of improvement with the GameCube. But the controls were the same. Now with can interact with the games even more.

no, you are wrong! this is a plastc peice of shit. the movement is a bit better (i think nintendo should've waited and made this with the controller when wii was released instead of making u waste ur money on a less then steller upgrade. and u only need the accessory for 4 wii games. and the motion plus loses its center very often. and start to read your moves wrong.

this game is great. the only downfall of it is that u can get bored quite fast if u play the same games. i LOVE playing bowling. its graphic,music,everything about it is just great. the Wii sports (original) was fuking boring u had like 5 games and the bowling was so damn boring. u had to like break ur fking wrist just to get it to turn. i definitely give Wii Sport's Resort a 10/10

My favorite is swordplay (as long as you master the blocks) then table tennis. Least favorite? Undoubtedly the canoeing one. But it's one of those party games, so it isn't really my favorite. But I can't wait for legend of Zelda skyward sword.

Ping pong sucks in this game. I like my move ping pong.. And move disc golf. But i must say the variety on wii is much larger, so i would choose this over move. Not anyday though. Hardcore - move

Its a great game for the Wii, and Gamespot is right saying that it is even more enjoyable while playing with friends/family. All games in resort fit everyone. Swordplay being my favorite along with the more exotic types such as flyover, cycling, archery, and the water sports. I recommend this entertaining game too all Wii lovers who want to have fun with addicting multiplayer gmae types and solo fun. Also THUMBS UP IF THAT DUDE IN THE VIDEO LOOKS GAY!

You don't give swordplay enough credit at all--it's the best game on Wii Resort! It's perfect the way they made it.

It's only a bunch of random waggling if you both don't bother to block. Ya can't beat someone who actually blocks by swinging like a mad man, because then ya just wind up getting counter-attacked again and again.That's how I always beat my brother. He just whips his damn sword around and I just block, hit, block, hit, block, hit, hit, hit,hit, bam, off the stage.

I just can't stand how XboX nickels and dimes their customers. The system costs the most. The internet connection costs. The the not-so-great wireless router costs 100 fucking dollars! And, instead of releasing an entire game, they hold back on content, and then sell it to you for an extra 15$, calling them 'upgrades' or whatever.

At least Nintendo seems to take all customers into consideration and put real creativity in what they create and sell.

This is not just an update. It is a whole new revamped game with new modes. 12 sports in fact. Boxing, baseball, and tennis do not return in this game. This one is more fun than regular wii sports. You must have wii motion plus to play it thoug.

Some cool games for the wii are the call of duty games, metroid prime 3, Battalion Wars 2, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

@gladheateher4now Well when you press 'A' on the game does it say set down the Wii remote + MotionPlus on a flat surface and do not move it? If it does then do that and you should be able to play. If that doesn't work too I think you either need a new Wii Remote or the Wii MotionPlus =\

Very fun, I loved the wakeboarding and aeroplane ones :D He's right about cycling and canoeing though, they'reoring, and basketball is a bit too simple. Frisbee was a lot mroe fun than expected! :) And bowling of course is great fun :D
