John Kricfalusi is not against making flash cartoons with computers. With flash, you can still be really creative and draw all the poses and all the drawings you want. Digital restoration is what he dislikes, since it over-saturates the actual colors and the lines start to look all funky. It's called DVNR (Or Digital Video Noise Removal).
Making web-based cartoons doesn't automatically mean your restricted to garish colors or uncreative ideas. John K. pushed Flash's limits.

We've got something like that called Skype. Mum & Dad went to England for a while and I called them on skype. It's cheaper than using the house phone (especially from England to Australia on a mobile phone)
