And to the guy who said Skillet is just a second 3DG, Skillet had FIVE albums out counting their worship album before Three Days Grace had one. And right now Three Days Grace only has 3 albums and I personally only like their first album. They sold out with One-X. One could argue Skillet sold out with Awake, but Monster is also a Christian lyric based song, as are the other singles Hero and Awake and Alive. And Comatose was just an overall beautifully epic album. 3DG is ok, but Skillet rocks

I'm gonna be completely honest here - Skillet used to be my favorite band and I swore they always would be. Since the arrival of Comatose+, I have changed that stance. I still respect and appreciate where Skillet is going, but they have sold out musically in my opinion. They sound like any other band out there... the old Skillet may have appealed to less people, but I would rather hear this sound than boring recycled emo-metal riffs over and over. This kind of sound needs a comeback..

I'm gonna be completely honest here - Skillet used to be my favorite band and I swore they always would be. Since the arrival of Comatose+, I have changed that stance. I still respect and appreciate where Skillet is going, but they have sold out musically in my opinion. They sound like any other band out there... the old Skillet may have appealed to less people, but I would rather hear this sound than boring recycled emo-metal riffs over and over. This kind of sound needs a comeback..
