  • Perfection and her name was ELIZABETH. As beautiful in person as she was in this video. TY so much for this video of love. Rest in the arms of the angels D'Angelo Occhi. You will never see EYES like ELIZABETH'S they were stunning. GOD'S SUPREME CREATION.

  • How BEAUTIFUL she was: pics often lie, but every movie she did shows her amazind violet eyes!

  • this is perfection! thank you

  • That's a great moment between Richard and Elizabeth there from 2:49 to 3:00.

  • To all these people saying Richard Burton was a racist, what did he do or say? I'm not disagreeing with you. I just want to know. How did Elizabeth handle it? Obviously she wasn't racist.

  • @RichardElden You're entitled to your opinion...... however asinine it might be..... have a lovely day.

  • I love original more, but both are great! YiotaPam, thank you for all your videos again!!!!

  • Seems to me like Richard Elden needs a hug.

  • @RichardElden If you do not appreciate Burton on screen, then you should not waste your time watching the trailer. We all have our cup of tea, and there is no purpose in slandering actors or acctresses that are no longer with us.

  • I love to think that they are together now. Just imagine, Ms. Elizabeth walking through the pearly white gates, her lovely youthful self. All her husbands lounging about and she greets them all. Finally she would find Burton sitting on a couch sipping (sherry...?) and say, "Well my dear, what took you so long?"

    Need I say more?

  • @catgirl1234 What a lovely thought and maybe it's true.. we can always hope.. :)"

  • She was definitely my favorite actress from her era, SHE HAD THE MOST GORGEOUS AND UNIQUE EYE COLOR IN THE WORLD. WHO CAN SAY THEY HAD VIOLET COLORED EYES?? ONLY HER!

  • To the person who posted that Taylor and Burton had one child, the following can be found on Burton's bio on IMDB.com:

"Since Elizabeth Taylor was unable to have children, she and Richard adopted a German girl as their daughter, legally naming her Maria Burton. She was born in Germany c. 1964 with a deformed jaw that was fixed while she was still a baby."

  • rip

  • Really like the way this is done. I've never seen The Sandpiper. I'll see if I can find it somewhere. Even if it wasn't a commercial/critical success, it's clear those two had real chemistry onscreen. All you have to do to test my theory is watch w/o sound scenes between male/female leads from recent movies.

    Rest in peace Liz.

  • @khamir49 Hi Liz, I have a copy of the sandpiper in VHS format. If interested, let me know.

    gelise10@aol.com

    gil

  • @khamir49 Go onto Netflix and order it! Its a wonderful, sensual passionate movie! It comes through on the screen with their chemistry.. I have watched it at least 1/2 a dozen times and it never gets old... Im sad she's gone :(

  • @jeffnlisa she was one of the most beautiful woman of her time i mean she even when she was 70 years old she looked like she was 20 years younger. Also she was a great actress and i heard she was also a good person something in our age its very hard to find it. Rest in peace elizabeth u earn it and u will be missed ofc

  • we will love you for ever

  • I was watching this last night not knowing that she would be gone today. RIP Elizabeth! You were my idol. Im so sadden by your death that I started crying during my history class today. I cant believe we will never see your beautiful eyes again.

  • May you rest in peace great Dame Elizabeth Taylor, unforgetable eyes, unforgetable talent, unforgetable light !

  • The song is beautiful and works really well with the video. Thanks for sharing. Who sings this song?

  • The song is beautiful and works really well with the video. Thanks for sharing.

  • London Lady, Elizabeth Taylor... REST IN PEACE

  • today i read Liz died, i m very sorry about this and thats the reason i watch here some vids of Liz. i never forget her.

  • Beautiful. One of my favorite films.:)

  • Rest in peace Elizabeth Taylor.

  • Elizabeth Taylor

    RIP

    1932-2011

  • @TheIxtlan She isnt dead yet.

  • Never saw this movie b4 but i want to!!! Does any1 know where i could purchase this at

  • Oh,I like this song alright, even if it's not the one you wanted. For Dragonrdh, I think they had a daughter and her name is Kate.

  • such a beautiful tribute <3

  • YiotaPam - I have never seen a face more beautiful than Elizabeth Taylor's. What program did you use to create this amazing work of art?

  • Taylor won her first Academy Award, for Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her performance as Gloria Wandrous in BUtterfield 8 (1960)

  • maybe anyone can please upload the whole movie? that would be so great! (: i really love it(: ♥

  • I love this movie..I think it is Elizabeth Taylor looking her very best. Thanks for posting it.

  • you can tell by the way she looks at him....she was deeply and blindly in love with him. very sad. she deserved much better.

  • She looked beautiful ok! Elizabeth and Richard are the most amazing actors in the whole world!

  • @KateBushInterviews Burton was a wooden film actor and a talentless overacting ham who only copied Olivier. So glad he died at only 58.

  • Richard Burton such a ruggedly goodlooking man...

  • @neukertification It's good the talentless loser died at only 58.

  • @JuanMacready I cannot believe you posted this. What a deadful thing to say.Burton had CLASS,something you can only dream about.

  • @MOGGS1942 Burton was a talentless racist who never could act at all.

I wish he had died of LUNG CANCER like Stanley Baker.

  • @JuanMacready What a vile individual you are. Go and get some help,or perhaps it's too late, the die havng been cast a long time ago.

  • @MOGGS1942 The talentless racist Burton was a pathetic loser. I'm so glad he died before Olivier, who despised him.

  • @JuanMacready OMG,what a sickie you are!

  • Really nice, and doesn't Liz look gorgeous?

  • @KateBushInterviews She looked short and fat.

  • my favorite couple or one of them, I have two. Elizabeth and Mike Todd and Liz and Richard lovely video

  • is richard burton gorgeous or what!!!

  • @anjay0 He just looked like an ugly chain smoking alcoholic. I'm glad he died at only 58, I wish he had died of lung cancer.

  • @JuanMacready please dont put such a terrible comment near my name.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • By far, she is the most beautiful woman in the world. Still.

  • @clovermuse Doesn't she look like a fat alcoholic cripple?

  • Comment removed

  • @JuanMacready Nope, not at all. I'd love to see your pic, though so I can deem whether or not you are worthy to judge others physical appearance. Of course beauty is much more than that. Your words are superficial and cruel. Yuck - ugly!

  • @clovermuse It' pity the fat ugly mental whore didn't die of lung cancer 35 years ago.

  • I was very fortunate to personally meet Miss Taylor in 1992. She is more beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. And that is saying volumes of her inner beauty. I believe she was around 59 or 60 and I have to add the most beautiful woman in the world!

  • How fat was she then?

  • beautiful tribute! you captured some very good moments :)

hey, i wondered if people french kissed in those days?! on screen kisses always look like just a long kiss on the lips hehe

  • Saw the movie last night. Then ur video. U have masterfully captured the essence of the movie - and so tastefully. A treat! Thank u!

  • old movies are so creepy.......

  • wich movie is that from 3:33 ?

  • I have NEVER seen Elizabeth look more beautiful than she did in this film. Truly stunning!

  • JuanMacready you are a scumbag. At some point you will wish you weren't born

  • My favorite movie of all time, it illustrates how deeply we can allow ourselves to love and be loved in a forbidden relationships. The love is as deep as the hurt and results in enormous pain. (Death)

"Sin has its immense pleaure-for a season, but the wages are death".

    Yet we are all vulnerable....

  • I love this video. This song goes so well with it too. Richard was SO HOT.

  • Wow, this song really went well with these clips. Loved it!

  • A fucking awful movie.

  • liz was a tad overweight...tho I still love her

  • She always looked short and fat.

  • @unclebobunclebob , a tad overweight!!!!!!!!! You're an idiot.

  • @MrsNatc Gee, thanks for the name-calling. I guess I can't have an opinion, even though I said I love her still. Why do people on the internet sites like this spew such vitriol all the time? When did that become so acceptable?

  • Their love is evident in their eyes. They were and remain one of the most beautiful Hollywood couples. Liz is an extraordinary actress so I think it will never have one like her.

  • That movie 'The Sandpiper' was actually an inspiration for me to visit Big Sur last year. A great cast and a spectacular landscape as well.

  • A very bad movie indeed. No wonder Burton tried to get out of it.

  • Liz Taylor is so breathtaking. Whenever I see her face, my jaw literally drops.

2:30 and 4:03 are just wow.

  • @ilyinichna like Marley?

  • You are an artist. Thanks for the video.

  • When Elizabeth Taylor appears, the cameras flash until it's blinding. After all these years, she is still beautiful. Elizabeth Taylor is one of the last, if not the last great star that came of the old Hollywood studio system. And it is still a sign of her superstar quality, that when she next she appears, we will still look and wonder. At her approach, the approach of Elizabeth Taylor - the public eye still widens in anticipation. She recently stated she loved Richard until his death.

  • Okay, get a grip, please! Thou doth swoon excessively, methinks [as Burton might say]. Yes, she was a hottie in her day, but that day was like fifty years ago. Hollywood has always had lots of beautiful women and it always will. Liz Taylor was just one of many.

  • @HAMLETSGHOST100 - You're all over YouTube leaving your negative comments. Look in the mirror, is that what you meant to become. And what would the opinion mean coming from someone like you.

  • fantastic video :) burton/taylor = epic! peterfirthfan, dont watch the video if you think its that awful.

  • Or don't watch the video if you think it's that great. You have to watch something to have an opinion about it...the guy thought it stunk. However, you, are trying to tell someone what to do.

This movie does look a little dated..as opposed to Burton's work with Ava Gardner...

  • My favorite look for Elizabeth: No overdone jewels, no puffy hairdos, no heavy makeup. Just her with a tan, loose hair and gypsy like clothes, a true mother earth. Magnificent.

  • Fucking crap movie.

  • Absolutely wonderful! Carefully put together. Shows all the electricity between Taylor & Burton. Awesome job!

  • thank you for introducing me to this couple, this song, and your gorgeous videos...

  • I love this film, instead of it is very sad, besides they were so beautiful couple..

  • Your video is still beautiful even with the new soundtrack. But your original video with the "right" music is heaps better of course. I love "The Sandpiper". I've watched it about 3-4 times just in the past year. :)

  • The theme song and movie scenes are so relaxing. Great movie to wind down to and enjoy. Elizabeth's role was of such an interesting character.

  • They made such a great couple!

  • touching, sensitive work

  • Richard Burton was totaly better than Alec Guinness was

  • why? I want to watch it but I can't find it anywhere

  • It was originally intended for McQueen. Burton realized early on it was going to be awful but couldn't get out of his contract.

  • These People are Icons M S South West WALES Lost my Dad this year words can not express my loss.Still have my lovely family. God Bless

  • another gorgeous montage by YiotaPam-

I love this song so no complaints from me!

    many thanks and cheers-

  • Pity they did not have kids together-imagine what they might be like!

  • @Dragonrdh.. Liz Taylor had 1 child with Richard Burton, she was born in 1961 and her name is Maria Burton

  • @Dragonrdh if you're referring to Richard Burton, Liz Taylor had a daughter with him. Her name is Maria Burton..

  • @multifacetsflux

Maria was adopted though. I always wondered how a kid with the combo of Taylor and Burton's genes would have looked.

  • @Dragonrdh I believe it would be a great child!!

  • Im adding this to my favorites.Thank you for sharing YiotaPam. I am a fan of Miss Taylor. Though she may not have led a perfect life, but then again who's life is ? She has helped a lot of people. Her kindness will always be remembered.

  • BEAU-TI-FUL!

    Damn your talented!

  • lovely video, great work, most of all, beautiful heart...your friend is smiling....sorry for your loss

for those that wondered, as i did....

    music: evanescence - good enough

  • Very very beautiful video.

I'm sure your friend would have been proud of your work.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

  • Sorry about your friend. This is a beautiful tribute towards a beautiful couple the everlasting elizabeth taylor and richard burton!!!!!!

  • Who is singing this?

What is the title of the song?

  • Wow! Has there every been a more beautiful film start than Elizabeth Taylor? I think not. Thank you for your wonderful video.

  • Beautiful! God bless you. Moving tribute to Liz and Dick. And your dearly departed friend, who now resides in HEAVEN!

  • Richard,

I remember Ms. Taylor wearing the yellow dress and hat into her son's school (the young movie actor) when she made this lovely movie.

This was some love story, but I felt badly for the woman who played his wife, the lovely Eva St. Marie.

    Always,

    Iris

    YiotaPam

  • @YiotaPam wonderful video and track!!!!!

  • Dear Yiota ~ You do not know me but I wanted to thank you for the loving tribute to Sir Richard and Dame Elizabeth as well as the touching tribute to your sweet friend who has made her journey far too early in her life.

It's evident you put your heart and soul into making this. The song and lyric were a perfect fit to the video you compiled.

I offer my belated condolences on the passing of your friend. She is watching over you from Heaven.

    Blessings & Joyous Howls,

    Camille

  • He wasn't a sir you dickhead.

  • @PeterFirthFan For starters... Richard Burton declined knighthood, however, to me and many others, he will always be Sir Richard.

You're pretty much a chicken shit aren't you.... let me guess... Napoleonic syndrome, not well endowed.... what IS your problem???

I loved it. The chemistry between them is so strong and the music is romantic, sad, bittersweet and perfect. I have never heard of the group before but it's great. :)

You've done a great job matching up the lyrics with the clips too. it shows that you've put in a lot of time on this. :)
