When the sad day came on the 29th June 2011 and Calmac having to revert to 'Passenger-only' boats the following day AND giving Western Ferries a complete monopoly on vehicle transit , I smell a rat!!

Nice video, good to see the familiar sights of Dunoon again! But, oh dear! the pier is just a shadow of its former self - looks more like a building site now. Either the local council or CalMac are not looking after it. I remember my school days in the 70's when both berths at the pier were occupied and sometimes with a third steamer waiting to berth. Thanks for sharing!
