@deanrubins12 We bought an used pearl double kick pedal which is indepenant of the stock pedal that came with the kit. The bass pad on the electric kit is smal, so you need to align things just right for the double kick to sound good.

@TheSamurai98 I use an avid external usb 2.0 sound card($500). I plug the ipod into the drum kit and then record both the drums form the kit and the song simultaneously. I use mixcraft as the audio recording software($90). There are cheaper ways to to this but the sound will not be as good. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube also about recording electronic drum kits into a computer as a .wav. Good luck. Email me if you have any questions.
