I think we are all crazy... the planets seems to be going to pieces and we just watch it on the news thinking "oh... well " if the shit does hit the fan what will our children and grandchildren think of us? that we let me them inherit a destroyed planet bcuz we were selfish and too lazy. i think theres an attitude of.. "oh... well, we aint gonna be around when the shit really kicks off" how selfish is that?

pretty much, if we act on it and global warming is true, then we have done the right thing, if we act on it and it's not true, then we have just become more efficient people. On the other hand, if we don't act on it and it's true, then we are in big trouble, and if we don't act on global warming and it's not true then we got lucky, but are still inefficient.

We will be out of oil, gas and cokes. We will not have solar or wind energy. Sea level will have risen, causing flooding and hurricanes. Nature will be shifted, animals will move. Air and water will be heavily polluted, and there will be no natural environnement to clean it. Disease will be spread easily. We might all have dollars, cars and luxury, but we will be prepared to trade it all for a liveable planet.

Global Warming IS happening, if you don't believe it, watch An Inconvienent Truth, there may be some small mistakes or exagerations, but nobody has dared suing the makers. There might be other causes too, but most of this research is because we don't want it to be true. Think about what the planet would be like if we continue like this for 100 years.

Great video...I've used a similar argument when talking to people who don't believe global warming (I'm skeptical myself, but I still think we should do something). It can also relate to eating right and working out. You are basically preventing health problems that don't exist. But if you didn't do it, you might get sick.

Very well explained Jonathan. Unfortunately we still don't know whether we are to blame for the warming or it is a natural phenomenon. But to abolish emissions is a good idea anyway, so I don't care if the theories are true :)

I see ur point! But unless its too bad a thing, I would rather have my body fight the disease .. rather than have the Doc give me medicines - 10% of which actually HIT THE TARGET .. and the body tries its best to get rid of the remaining 90% - and it can never do that completely. Homeopathy is better - its holistic(makes the body fights the germ). Allopathy just prescribes drugs, which fight the germ. And global warming? ... its actually gotten better, hasn't it? I'm not sure.
