One of the foundational elements of the rule of law--which isn't uniquely American--is fair trial. Quite a mis-statement for an attorney.

The law here is that while the right of a criminal defendant to counsel is guaranteed by the US Constitution, this protections is NOT required for enemy combatants. See Hamdi v. Rumsfeld, (holding the district court erred in appointing counsel for a military detainee, who was captured as an enemy combatant during military operations in Afghanistan).

Well, Obama is pretty much a centrist in the way he governs. And he's very cognizant of the cries of the Tear Party... there will always be some unhappy people in a democracy, but most of it is because people in the South no longer have one of their own in power. The law here is that while the right of a criminal defendant to counsel is guaranteed by the US Constitution, this protections is NOT required for enemy combatants. See Hamdi v. Well, Obama is pretty much a centrist in the way he governs. And he's very cognizant of the cries of the Tear Party... there will always be some unhappy people in a democracy, but most of it is because people in the South no longer have one of their own in power. Since the 70's (save Reagan) we've had Southern leaders, so Obama scares them since he's so intelligent, and has darker skin. I think they'll settle down once the distater of Bush continues to be cleaned up. All for now.

im just saying this as an independent who hates party politics and dislikes politicians in general. martha coaklye's reaching. she knows she's not going to win so she's taking scott brown's veiws out of context and attacking him. i dont like scott brown, but she's terrible. She's spending millions of dollars attacking scott brown and not stating her own veiws. she clearly knows she cant win without foul play. this disgusts me.

agreed I Have seen 3 martha commecials to every one scott brown. She is blowing millions when people need jobs and that is just not right. Tho id dose show her (More taxes for dumb shit for me) side.
