  • Then you are quite right. Very well played for the time. But they play like noobs by todays standards. Its cool to see a game change so much over the years, without any mods or changes.

It was the best game ever for me. I miss the good days!

  • The good old days are dead :(

Now we get children that think they are awesome but arent that good and just bad mouth everyone. Computer gaming is no longer a past time or a hobby. But is not a Fashion. It makes me sad. All today's gamers want is fancy graphics. Sure its nice. But I want games like quake 2 again. Quake 4 was almost there. But its just not the same....

    RIP Good gaming days.

  • @Th0rn0 Why Not find them old CDs of those Good ol' Games and hop on some servers there's a few left

  • @Btushinsky83 q2scene dot net is a very active community! :>

  • While quake duels were not as refined back then, immortal always had a particuarly strange style. He moved around clumsily and some what aimlessly, sub par movement even for those times. However, he could out aim everybody by a great margin. He was like the Rainman of quake lol. He might have been one of the first to use a really low sens.

  • @deathbearer Lol atleast they played.. people nowadays are such bitches, they only fight when they know their gonna win, lots of games on pc are just full of wide open gaping pussy players..

  • When was this?

  • If I remember correctly it was the online qualification for either PGL or CPL, and it must have been 1998 or 1999
