  • Awesome job combining Django and this footage... Brilliant!

  • Got the bulletin about Google coupled with Smoke Rings which was a good pairing. Yes, it made the difference. While they are not blowing rings as in the UrbDiction, they will try to control and copy to succeed, but they still don’t mind backing off to keep things working, preventing them for now, from becoming evil, unlike FB. Concerning this little gem, only one thing left to say -- supercalifragilisticexpialidocious !! and that’s no smoke ring! :)

  • one of the more frizzy looking Alice's I've seen set. It is nice together though.

  • this reminds me of looney tunes

  • Burned a hole in my sweats this morning completely transfixed! I kid you not. those details, the connection. boxanova said it right.

  • The great Django Reinhardt... A unique sound for a unique performer.

What a marvelous pleasure to watch the video !

Thank you so much for the superb upload dear friend

    Wonderful *****

  • 2:13 looks like a place in inglorious bastards

  • is this a guy playing Alice?

  • @aslekay no, it's a female actress named Anne-Marie Mallik.

  • Yeah , once I took a strip of django, shit was nuts.

  • coolio 4 sure 4 sure ☺

  • @SneakyTechno nothing trippier under the sun than alice's 'experience' :)

  • ok...wow....so is it just me or is this the coolest vid you have ever seen...and the music...fuck.,..I mean...wow...

  • @boxanova66 that's one of the sweetest comments i've ever received. i'm glad you enjoyed the pairing. it's such a mesmerizing song and the footage just seemed to make it magical for me. thanks for your kind words.

  • @jenzeppelin ur my new virtual best friend :D

  • I love this song so much thank you for posting.

  • @MrWilliam96 Amazing thing about Django is that after his hands were severely burned in a fire, he played with only 2 fingers & a thumb! Les Paul idolized Django, even buying his tombstone when he died in the early 50s. Come visit my musical time machine of 800 playlists. Thanks to people like Jen, my Django playlist runs about 3 hours. Added this to 1935's list as well. It's a tribute to the best of a century of worldwide music, with 450 artist lists & lists for every year since 1900. chuck

  • Marvelous post! Lewis Carroll goes rather well with Django's song, never would have thought of it ; ))

  • very nice version of this song. The video is just as great.

  • love this song thanks a ton

  • You may not agree, but I always thought Anne-Marie looked an awful lot like Jimmy Page in the movie.

  • Yeah, and thankx again for the videos- Alice, Jimmy, and Small Faces :)

  • Great clip, Jen. It definitely makes me curious about the film in its entirety.

  • Fantastic song and video! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you. :)

  • I've never seen any other Oz films except the obvious classic...that sounds fantastic! I am going to definitely look for those! There seem to be a lot of animated Alices out there - while making these videos, I wanted "real life" Alices, thus the chosen footage. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

  • Unusual, and now you will have me searching for this film! I was surprised to see how many renditions of these classics there are. I found 4 different OZ films for the neice so far and I know there are more. The same goes for Alice in Wonderland. One is simply entitled "Alice." a very unsual take also on the film. Thanks for subscribing by the way to. Regards,. Ken
