It's amazing how close this sounds to Giuliani's piece the Allegro. I have been hopscotching arouns the different method books as I go and I'm finding so much similarity in these pieces.
What is nice with YouTube is to have a window open to artists from around the world. The music is important to express yourself and it's very enjoyable regardless of the level of parts that is important is that it touches the heart because you will put all your soul
I studied this piece some years ago....you must play in a more accurate way...man you need time to perform in a great way....play guitar for many hours....you will see results soon...keep on playning!!!!
@corlammers Thanks! I'm still working on that clementi piece, I kindda do it with a weird tunning. I turn the 6th e string to d and the 5th a string to g and then that prelude in d minor sounds nice on the guitar. I'll post it someday when I play it nice and smooth.
Great job, Rob! Funny how were both working on the same piece at the same time. I won't be posting mine for another few months though. I just started it, and have several pieces I hope to record before this one. Looking forward to your future videos! Roger
@sackasilver Hi Roger! I look forward to your post of this piece. I still need to improve it some more, But I'm also working on some other pieces, but I wanted to share this as soon as I could. I hope I didnt kill it to bad. Look forward to your next video! Best Wishes,
@mikidemiki Thanks, it still needs some work. I liked your last video very much, very impressive. It would take me 10 yrs. just to memorize that piece.
Great work! I would point out that you need to ease up on high strings because you're outlining a lead melody where there should'nt be one. Melody is in the bass voice.
Yes I agree that it remindes me of that piece too.

Hi Rob.
Great to see a new piece by Carcassi. I never saw op. 59. (I am blushing here). And a very nice version you did too!
Keep it up and I'll check op. 59 now... :-)
All the best and thanks for sharing!
