In adults phimosis is a condition that can be rectified (if desired) without surgery. Surgery should be a last resort. Lateral manual stretching usually works best.

@punkratter Mate, you were circumcised shortly after birth. All you know is a circumcised penis. You have nothing else to compare it to. By the time you hit puberty and became sexually active your penis had already been desensitised by various factors. We are not saying that a circumcised penis has no sensitivity, just reduced sensitivity compared to an intact one.
@punkratter One more thing, most men who were cut at birth don't start to register a decrease in sensitive (compared to what they are used to) until they are much older. You are only in your twenties so you probably won't begin to register a decrease in sensitivity (compared to what you are now used to) for another ten, twenty, or even thirty years. Peace out.
I'm circumcised and my penis is not very sensitive, but I'm not upset and there's not much I can do about it, but I think circumcision should be done away with and it's wrong that in some places a circumcised penis is seen as the norm or even preferred, if I have a son I'll let him decide if he wants to cut off part of his genitals when he's old enough.

It is not so much that an intact guy's orgasm is more intense (orgasm intensity can even differ for a single person depending on various factors), it is that his Range of Sensation during arousal and leading up to orgasm is vastly expanded.

You are right, but not 100%. And here I can talk ONLY about male circumcision. Circumsised men ARE cleaner then non circumsised men. It is more difficult to keep a penis clean when it is not circumcised. After 3 hours that a man wahses his penis it alread starts to grow bacteria if he is not circumsised. If he is circumsised it will start to grow bacterias after 8 hours.
The leg stumps of men who are amputees are cleaner than men with both feet still attached but we value feet so we don't amputate feet to facilitate hygiene.
Foreskin amputation has nothing to do with genital hygiene, the penis and vulva are easily washed, but cultures that routinely cut off parts of the genitals of children try to justify that by saying its "cleaner."

I got circumc. 2 months ago. I never regret it. I'm not here 2 make any promotion. However I often read in comments about lasting longer. It sounds like you are not aware of varying degrees of FGM. The milder forms of FGM are less invasive then most male circumcision. Male circumcision often removes half or more of the skin of the penis. In male circumcision generally all of the most sexually sensate skin of the penis is removed.
FGM and MGM persist because of the same myths and misconceptions. Wherever there is FGM there is MGM. All children, male, female and intersex need to be protected from genital surgery.

The "ban circumcision" movement is nonsense in the sense that they would have to have an adult man who has had sex both ways, first uncircumcised, then circumcised, and tell us if the sexual pleasure is any different. Thanks Ron. I appreciate & agree partially with your comment. Foreskin "restoration" can provide a remarkable improvement over the circumcised state by providing mobility in the shaft skin again and a protective and erotic sheath as nature intended, however it does have it's limitations.
Circumcision harms the mother child bonding process with psychological effects that cannot be repaired by restoration. Infant death, severe complications there is no solution for the most severely affected.
I dunno but the thing thats also scary about circumcision is if you are uncut there are natural oils that keep the penis sensitive and such, when that skin is gone there is no more oil being produced and the penis head begins to just get less and less sensitive.... I really think circumcision should only be done on people who can make an informed decision themselves.

In the early 1950's, when Patricia Robinett was a little girl, her mother took her to a doctor in the US and had her clitoris cut off. This "medical treatment" (covered by Blue Shield until 1976) happened to countless little American girls until the FGM law passed 10 years ago.

Well, 1st of all, female circumcision is MUCH DIFFERENT. Are you a male "Rose"? The ONLY equivalent to female circumcision, would be cutting off the head of a mans penis. Male circumcision involves the foreskin. Yes, there are nerves there, but they are not as CONCENTRATED as they are in the head of the penis. You are correct, the REMNANT of foreskin is the most sexually sensate part of the penis. If you still had a whole foreskin the foreskin would be the most sexually sensate part of your penis. @Terminator5618 In medicine one generally attempts the least invasive treatment first, before amputating healthy tissue. Phimosis is the natural condition of every baby boy. Retraction happens naturally sometime during childhood or adolescence. No one should ever forcibly retract a child.
In adults phimosis is a condition that can be rectified (if desired) without surgery. Surgery should be a last resort. Lateral manual stretching usually works best.

You are right, but not 100%. And here I can talk ONLY about male circumcision. Circumsised men ARE cleaner then non circumsised men. It is more difficult to keep a penis clean when it is not circumcised. After 3 hours that a man wahses his penis it alread starts to grow bacteria if he is not circumsised. I'm lucky enough to still have a small amount of my foreskin. The only reason I can see Dr.s doing this in modern times is because of risk of infections other wise it's just stupid religious ritual bullshit.

There is no reason to pre-emptively amputate the healthy foreskin for "risk of infection" than there is to pre-emptively amputate any other healthy part of the body for "risk of infection."
Amputating the healthy foreskin of any infant or child with the excuse of "risk of infection" is medical fraud.

I got circumc. 2 months ago. I never regret it. I'm not here 2 make any promotion. However I often read in comments about lasting longer. I can tell you that excitement is in your... heart or brain, call in watever you like - I mean that it is a mental thing. I (and I guess any1 else) can make it last faster or longer, and it does not actually depend on what I had before and what I have now.

The issue conscious people have with circumcision is that its forced upon children.
Indeed sexual excitement is in your brain, however it does help to have all your equipment. Depending how severely circumcision is performed the major touch sensitive nerves (Meissner's corpuscles) present in the rigged band of the foreskin are amputated, sometimes the frenulum is also removed.
Staying power may seem important in youth but with age sexual response diminishes more drastically with circumcision.

Circumcision is destructive, causes severe accidents and death. If you wish to be circumcised as an adult who can weigh the risks, fine. It's your body and your choice.

Different countries have different cultures and religious views. Alot of the time, religion is the reason for circumcision, for example Islam and Judaism. But you have to ask really - if the foreskin is considered 'dirty', why did God make us with them in the first place? Its you're choice ultimately, but my dad has not been circumcised, and I don't have wounds on my head. What your friends believe is a lie, and has been made up to stop you from asking questions and making your own decision.

Cultures that cut the genitals of children use peer pressure, myths and outright lies to cut off part of your sexual organ. In the Philippines boys are often told circumcision will help them grow taller. That of course is a lie.
If you are confused look into the subject. Most of the world's men (80%) are not circumcised and they are not suffering from any of the "problems" cultures that cut children promote. Circumcision is a violation and a fraud.

A tight foreskin can be almost always be "cured" without cutting.

It sounds like you are not aware of varying degrees of FGM. The milder forms of FGM are less invasive then most male circumcision. Male circumcision often removes half or more of the skin of the penis. In male circumcision generally all of the most sexually sensate skin of the penis is removed.
FGM and MGM persist because of the same myths and misconceptions. Wherever there is FGM there is MGM. All children, male, female and intersex need to be protected from genital surgery.

If you are interested, why don't you do some research, get informed, perhaps read the book, "Prisoners of Ritual" by Hanny LIghtfoot-Klein, the author profiled here. Learn a bit about this and then get back to this discussion as someone more fully informed.
This is an important issue and it will be possible to eradicate genital mutilation of children when more are informed about it.

The "ban circumcision" movement is nonsense in the sense that they would have to have an adult man who has had sex both ways, first uncircumcised, then circumcised, and tell us if the sexual pleasure is any different. That's the scientific way: comparisons and controls. Can anyone point to real evidence of this sort? Until then, I won't waste time worrying whether my sex is two points off total mind-blowing shuddering ecstasy. I'd rather study, work hard, and contribute to society.

There are many men who had sex both ways and regret their circumcision. Some say that too much skin was cut off and caused painful erections. Some men claim that they don't like masterbating anymore because there is no gliding skin so they need more lubrication and there are men who say that their orgasms are not as intense and that they don't feel light touching as much as they did before.

No, actually one of the reasons why circumcision was adopted in the US was because this amputation would only leave pain and temperature receptors, so society could finally force males to stop "abusing" themselves. I was flayed at birth, and in comparison to every other part of my body, my penis is extremely painful and very numb. In my case, it actually callused over when puberty started, because of it rubbing against the hairs that grow down there.

Thanks Ron. I appreciate & agree partially with your comment. Foreskin "restoration" can provide a remarkable improvement over the circumcised state by providing mobility in the shaft skin again and a protective and erotic sheath as nature intended, however it does have it's limitations.
Circumcision harms the mother child bonding process with psychological effects that cannot be repaired by restoration. Infant death, severe complications there is no solution for the most severely affected.

I dunno but the thing thats also scary about circumcision is if you are uncut there are natural oils that keep the penis sensitive and such, when that skin is gone there is no more oil being produced and the penis head begins to just get less and less sensitive.... In the early 1950's, when Patricia Robinett was a little girl, her mother took her to a doctor in the US and had her clitoris cut off. This "medical treatment" (covered by Blue Shield until 1976) happened to countless little American girls until the FGM law passed 10 years ago.

Robinett's book "Rape of Innocence" is essential reading for anyone who wishes a better understanding of these issues.

Well, 1st of all, female circumcision is MUCH DIFFERENT. Are you a male "Rose"? The ONLY equivalent to female circumcision, would be cutting off the head of a mans penis. Male circumcision involves the foreskin. Yes, there are nerves there, but they are not as CONCENTRATED as they are in the head of the penis. You are correct, the REMNANT of foreskin is the most sexually sensate part of the penis. If you still had a whole foreskin the foreskin would be the most sexually sensate part of your penis. As awareness about this issue grows we will be hearing from a great many more men and women cut as children who will now describe themselves as mutilated. Quite frankly I cannot think of anything more illustrative of the word mutilation than holding or tying down a child and cutting off part of their genitals.
To actually learn about the abilities of circumcised women to orgasm you might wish to read the works of Hanny LIghtfoot-Klein. Much of a clitoris is buried beneath the surface.

There are varying degrees of circumcision, some have been robbed of a great deal more of their sensation than others. Some men have been very severely scarred by circumcision, some men have had their ability to respond sexually severely impacted by circumcision. You make the mistake by generalizing for all men as if circumcision was a uniform procedure. It most certainly is not. Many men have lost the highly sensitive frenulum. All have lost the rigged band.
