nope. i just put the videos directly onto the hard drive from the SD card. I never use cable with camera. Too much off a hassle. Just get an SD card reader for a usb port if you dont have one, and do it that way. From there you can upload directly to youtube from your hard disk
The camera is great. Also loading videos on youtube takes away a lot of quality, even with their "high quality" option. It comes nothing close to the original file.
im thinking about Z1080, and I want u to check it out and tell me what u thinks, this is good, but i want the Z1080 because trustedreviews says Z1080 have much better image quality than Z80
And this is only Youtube qual. The actual file itself is WAY better. I checked out some videos here on youtube from the Z1080, and it looks the same to me. The one I have already records in the H.264 format (MOV files)
Well with video you can't get much better unless you up the resolution. It still records in UHQ, HQ, and also has widescreen recording capabilitites. The picture qual of the 1080 is better though, I can say that.
is it "annoying" to change the MOV file to a AVI ? i mean like bothersom? xD cause it really was when i did it on a video cam so im not sure if i should get this cam =/ but the quality isnt bad, but i have heard some complains about the cam, are you happy with it? =O xD sorry i need to know before im going to buy it, i have bad luck in digi cams v.v they all let me down
I researched the Z80 extensively on Steve's Digicams and Dpreview. The Z80 has the best video of any Casio model and possibly any stills model I've ever seen. It really is camcorder quality. Some Casio models pip it for still quality but not video from what I've seen. Search for Z1080 videos on here. they aren't as good as the Z80 despite the higher bit rate.
im sorry, but Z80 is not taking very good picture`s, but usable enough, Z80 in norway is 1495,- and Z1080 is 1795,- which means it is still taking better photos and videos! :)
go to a page called trustedreviews(dot)com and search for it, you`ll see its on the top10 on second place.
rare youtube doesn't allows widescreen in normal quality but in high yes

My laptop has a memory card reader built-in, I won't need a USB Cable in order to upload the videos on YouTube.

yeah... u got a point there.
maybe it is same standards for all Casio`s...
but i still think Z1080 have better picture quality, but shame there isnt any Casio with "the best" video quality... it would become popular...
