I really do appreciate the Green Party and Respect asking their supporters to give Ken their second preferences votes. I will give my second preference to the Greens. It really is appreciated.

There's no point giving your second preference to Sian, she's not going to make the second round, it probably wont even be reported how many second preference she gets. But first preferences will be noticed. It only makes sense to give Johnson or Livingstone your second preferences cause the runoff will be between them.

They ARENT 'in bed' with Labour! What they're saying is, everybody gets TWO votes & it would be a disaster for London if people's second vote went to a WOLF in clown's clothing like Boris! So Ken is saying if you vote for him use your second vote for Sian & vice versa! It make perfect sense! Greens always have stood for the politics of co-operation rather than the politics of opposition anyway! Thats why they support PR not FPTP elections!

Boris is a civil libertarian, I respect that. I also don't agree with congestion charges, hammering motorists for a problem caused by the run of society: free nationalised public transport is the only thing that will get cars off the road, my sister drives round the congestion charge keeping her car on the road even longer and I don't really blame her

I take it back... the result shows it was a bad idea to second guess the voters and back Ken. It made sense from a tactical voting point of view, but the results show that its wrong tactically. More Tories would have voted Green & clearly from the results Kens voters DIDNT vote green!

Next time we need to stick to principles.

Its Green or nothing and if that means nothing then its better to have right on your side in a world gone mad... than to be just as mad as the rest of em.
