i got this case i like it, except i dont have the side window

  • Is this big enough to be considered a gaming case?, I'm planning to buy this to put a HD 5770 and a 3.0Ghz Quad-core with a 500 Psu and 4gb ram, would it be big enough? also, would a GIGABYTE GA-770TA-UD3 AM3 AMD 770 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard be able to fit in it? thanks please answer :D

  • I have this case, starting to get annoyed by it. It is small now for the video cards coming out today and doesn't have good cable management areas.

  • I have it, but im not good with hardware, so thanks for those tips! :)

  • at 00:41 you said them the other way round :P

  • very nice case

  • i have this case, i dont like it, too small and gets too hot.

    Im getting a lian li

  • Got this case and I turned the 80mm fan in the front to suck air out because my graphic card is down there blowing air in that direction anyway.

  • No the fan on the back sucks in but the fan behind the power button sucks out cause the end of the Graphic card is there forcing its air at it so might as well suck the card heat right out. So my airflow goes back to front. Blowing air against the graphics cards airflow would be idiotic

  • My case next summer :D

  • i see flash flash revolution in the background

    haha

  • 2:03 - Crazy emphasis on the Drive BAY.

  • yeah you do

  • does anyone know if i need a firewire port on my motherboard for the firewire port on the front of this case to work? some1 let me know b4 i go out and buy this case. thanks

  • Absolutely! If you dont have Firewire-connectors on the motherboard you can't use Firewire... Eh, it is the motherboard that connects everything in and on a PC, so that is my friend just as Sherlock Holmes would have put it: Elementary my dear dakidplayboy!

  • I'm looking to add more fans to this case - How many of what size should I buy and add?

  • i have 3 and it does the trick

  • i have this without the window

  • in the video it says the window is an OPTION. none come witht he video unless you specify it to.

  • On 1:19 it looks like his hand is a dead fish...

  • Wow.....it does...

  • rofl lmao

  • If you think it's a kick-ass case then I'll buy it :]

This with 550W PSU or the Antec Sontata III with a 500W PSU.

This has 2 fans however the dust thingies look a pain in the ass to clean - there are so many individual ones.

Sonata is more stylish with easily removable dust thingies but it only has one fan and no side holes.

You swayed it for me :]

  • i got full size case it rocks and has a 500W and it was 100$AUS!! landmark computers!

  • I get this to my mid range gaming pc, but there is not window.

  • Rodney nice music at the beginning.

This case is nice and has lots of features that I like, 100% KICK ASS case.

  • y would u wanna take the motherboard out

friend rings up hey wat u doing

    u nothing much

    friend wanna come over

    u ok

    friend bring ur motherboard over

    wtf

  • It's so you can easily work on installing the components to the motherboard outside the case and then easily slip it back in.

  • i just ordered this earlier today (the non-window version)...

my current case is full-tower (too freakin big) and is lacking with front connectors... loud too

hopefully this will be a good choice

  • have a Coolermaster Centurion 5 case and P5K-VM MicroATX. I wonder can a coolermaster Centurion 5 fix inside 8800GT graphic card?. It will fix inside the case or not?.

  • whether it can be fixed inside or not is not depends on ur case but ur motherboard..ur motherboard should have PCI Slots..

  • The centurion 5 can fit a 8800gtx

  • Are you sure. That coolermaster centurion 5 will fit 8800gtx graphic card inside the case. 8800gtx is big graphic card not a medium graphic card.

  • Yes im sure.

  • i have a 9800 gx2 in a centurion 5 lol it was dificult to fit but it did fit

  • the expansion slots arent cafe got this thing fried my 8600GTS because it was really loose and i put it in correctly

  • no you didnt lol i have the case never had that problem.

  • i'd like to know that too.. gonna buy this case for my 8800 gtx and compared to other cases that offer front 120mm fans instead of the 80mm on this im afraid it might get hotter than i'd like since i'll be running a high end pc, and possibly overclocking later on..

not my favourite looking case but it's not half bad, and i love those silent fans, and specially the price tag :)

  • then get the thermaltake armor

or the Antec 900 Nvidia Version Mid tower Case

to fit those big Nvidia Ati graphcs

  • if i had a 8800GTX in this case would i ahve any cooling problems

  • the psu is NOT supplyed anymore

  • Considering I bought one yesterday, with a PSU included, I would say that you're wrong.

Perhaps it is going out of production? I couldn't say that that is something that wont occur, but it's definitely being sold with and without a PSU included in almost every single store I looked at that had either variant of the Centurion 5 case.

  • I should probably also mention that you need to buy one that specifically states "w/ 430w PSU" or something similar.

You can buy both one without a PSU included and one with a PSU included. Obviously if you're going to need a better PSU, it cuts down on the cost, which is probably an obvious reason for going with two variants.

  • i have this case i love it this the only the case i would ever get its a fantastic gaming case keeps your pc very cool and is extreamly quiet

  • Anyone know if this thing'll fit an Ultra? I know, fat chance, but I was just wondering.

  • I'm looking to use this case for gaming, is it still good for gaming for cooling ect? I cannot go much expensive on the case because I already spending $2000 on other items.

    Thanks!

  • i have it,

its cheap but it works, silent too

  • Are the stock fans quiet?

  • The 120mm fan at the back of the case is exceptional. It is louder than the best 120mm fan (Nexus) but it moves more air. It also undervolts very nicely.

The 80mm fan at the front of the case is a bugger. It's very loud at 12v, and louder than most at 9v and 5v.

I would replace the 80mm at the front with a Scythe or Nexus.

  • yeah i just bought one and are pretty silent, i wouldnt reccomend the optional side panel with window because the defeault side panel has a hole with tube so the cpu fan gets his air from outside

  • yeah that was my dillema too when i bought it. but i bought the side pannel just cause it looks soooo cool!

  • I have this case, my 8800GTS fits, but you need a screw to hold it on the expansion slot.

  • Great stuff! Thanks Rodney!

  • Thanks man, great review.

  • I got this case on order the shop doesnt have stock so it should come next week, i wanted to start building the system on the weekend.

  • YOU CHEATED!the front panel wasn´t fully attached!you left it loose in the bottom so you could remove it with easy, misleading viewer,in fact it take quite some hulk strengh to remove the front pannel.

  • hehe. You can tell he likes ATI. good review anyway.

  • a 8800GTX can fit in this case.

  • :(

I was looking for a decent computer case for this computer, I came across that cooler master case on scan's website and they didn't mention anything about a reset button, so I ended up picking the Gigabyte GZ-X2 (black) case, its good I guess.

  • Im going to be getting one in 2 months, for my brother's PC.

  • I didn't know how to put in the cdrom drive until i watched you video. Thanks ;)

  • That's wrong about the part on the powersupply. It is a 430W Cooler Master Extreme PSU.

  • Is the bundled power-supply removeable? Also, is it true that the 8800 series cards will not fit in this case?

  • most likely does, because it supports regular ATX motherboards and 8800s reach the very edge of ATX motherboards so it should fit

  • I laugh everytime you pause to let us listen to the fans...cause...well...I can't hear them over my own computer fans!

  • Nice review, this is the case I'm using.

  • Nice review, this is the case I'm using.

  • ej roodney....im waching alot alot of yours movies....can u help me where can i get a tornado fans in croatia?

i buy today this perticilar case! its a kickass! my is blue ! but i need some tornado fans! :)
