We have one of these very engines at the place I work in south Texas. I use it occasionally but it still sees daily service to this day! It was P&S 1949, can't remember what it's original number was, though.
I am wondering if that is old "caboose juice" himself Butch Plyler in the caboose. I wish the P&S were still around since a large portion of my family worked there.
The deafining sounds of roaring EMDs along with the crew using the horn to throw off golfers with their puts is some footage that's priceless. This video is definitely among my favorites. I bet riding along with this crew would be a trip and a half if they were still around.
