  • Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I have a 1980 Case 224 with a single stage 36" L80 snowcaster. Both are in exceptional shape. I couldn't wait for snow last year but when I finally got a chance to fire it up I was very disapointed. It cloggs constantly even though it is very well siliconed, and it bogs down in more than a few inches of snow. If the snow is even a little wet it slinks out of the chute. Granted, I live in New England where the snow tends to be wet.

  • Mike you are pretty good at driving that thing with one hand, that takes some skill. Diggin' the soul patch man. NICE!! I still think you have one of the nicest herds of Case out there.

  • @kungdrew

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I guess if you drive something for 26 years you better be good at it. lol.

I've enjoyed seeing you come into the Case GT hobby. There is alot to learn, but you seem to be grasping it well.

  • good video. Your son will always remember days like that .

  • @EarlRausch

Yes this is true. I remember...

  • Motto:

"Keep the binky in and the snow out!"

  • @SeattlePioneer LOL! Good one!

  • Nice tractor.. I just bought a 444 myself with snow thrower, belly mower, case yard sweaper and yard roller. Finally can get rid of that nasty Craftsman!

  • That pacifier violates tractor protocol. If the kid wants to suck on something give him a cigar or a flask of whiskey!

  • Very funny, but No thanks. I'd rather suck on a pacifier than that crap!

  • thats a very nice setup you got there

  • i have tree case 80 wari drives cant find anything on them by the way i turnded one in to a go cart 45MPH!!!! way too fast gonna gear it lower so it has more torque for mudding and off roading

  • Awesome!!! I'm looking for a 446 0r 448 Case garden tractor to purchase. I prefer a 448. Anybody knows of any available please let me know.

  • thats a nice tractor you got there.

  • Parts are available on the internet if you search enough, or usually a CaseIH dealer can get you parts.

  • GO wisconsin!

    NIce tractor too

  • I am looking at a used 448 but it doesn't have the belly mower. I might be able to find on on EBAY. Can you tell me the width of your belly mower and/or width? Thanks

  • I just bought a brand new john deere with the snow blower. What a piece of CRAP! I should never of bought a deere! It is literally falling apart on me. I'm gonna sell that pile of green crap and buy an old Case. What's the biggest difference between the 446 and 448?

  • The difference is the 446 is 16 hp and the 448 is 18 hp. The 448 has a hood scoop on top of the hood. That's about it.

  • I've got a 1975 Case 224 with a 44inch mower deck and a 48inch snow blower. Nicest garden tractors ever.

  • do you ever have problems with your pto clutch?. we have a 1979 case 446. it has countless hours on it but keeps going. the clutch and its lack of stearing in the snow are its biggest drawbacks. the smooth turf tires int the front allowit to slide side ways instead of where you want it to go while snowblowing. and that clutch it is always comeing out of adjustment. other than that its an unstopable beast! nice machine you have i like the 3point wish ours had one. you must have the tiller right ?

  • The clutch takes good parts and skill to get correct. Mine works great so far.(knock on wood).

I have the nobby turf tires in front and they work much better, but still could be better.

  • Well there was more snow, about 1'. I just had it done already when the wife came out to video tape it, so I just blew what I could, plus she cut out the snow flying and focused on us instead of the snow blower.

  • I didn't know that flying snow was such an amazing thing, but I do know that you are!

    Love ya!

  • Great Tractor, tiny snowfall. These old classics just don't stop working, thats for sure. I have a video of our 1971 cub cadet 127 blowing snow, check it out if you want.

  • you won't find nothing better than a Case, they're built like a tank man awesome machine we bought ours brand new off the showroom floor in 1982 and since then only put like $600 of repairs into it but that was rebuilding the engine. Case is the only tractor today that is worth repairing in my opinion other tractors are built so cheap today, you might as well get a new one if anything goes wrong and that new one better be a Case :D

  • Pretty neat little tractor.

  • OMG now that is what I need, no messing around just getting the job done. After watching blowers all year compared to my plow I am wondering if they are the better way to go.

Awesome piece of gear you have :)
