I want to give this a go, but wouldn't inhaling melted nylon plastic be highly toxic?

Everybody says that vaping is a healthier alternative to smoking. But I wonder how safe all these cart wick fillers really are and whether they are as dangerous or even worse than many chemicals in real cigarettes.

@Buzztown101 They're not melted at all. You can vape on this mod for a month and the teabag material will look just like it did when you put it in there (minus some discoloration from juice flavoring). It's certainly not "melted" or burnt in any way. None of the cart mods you see involve melting or burning anything...they don't come in contact with the atomizer coil.

On this tea bag video, the person ends it off by saying that the wick should be constantly wet. The method here is nicely done.

On another tea bag video, the person ends off the video by saying that the wick should never be touched. So, my question is--should the wick be wet or dry?? Thanks very much.

DANGER? I wonder, has nobody noticed that the plastic mesh that IS the teabag material gradually melts in contact with the atomizer bridge? It turns hard and brittle and gives off fumes. No question this is a shotgun vape, but I do wonder what it does to your lungs. All the plastic cart fillers seem more dangerous than the liquid itself.

I just did this, thank you! The taste is wonderful and I'm not getting any juice on my hands! The added bonus is that I dumped the tea in a tea filter, prepared hot water and by the time the mod was done, I had a cup of tea too! :)

Great mod. I was using the old pyramid mod but sometimes got flooding and e-liquid in my mouth. I just did this mod and it works 100% great.

I experienced the exact same thing! Fraying the ends prevents the liquid coming through the cartrige when you draw. Excellent mod(ification) of the mod.

@StormyKniight Ok, just tried it but with a regular Lipton tea bag since I don't have any pyramid ones yet and yup.. works like a charm and no leakage. Holds more e-juice too :)

i usually drip now , but when i was using this i would get anywhere from 10 - 15 puffs before i topped off again , you could probably get more... i just like the fresh top off more.

Hey thanx for replying, is there like a auto drip mod that u can attach. Example, a little part that can hold little amount of liquid, so wen pressed, it will drip, instead of unscrewing, dripping nd screwing bak on. Is there any1 working on something like this? Coz thats the only little thing that is missing from the silver bullet.

the only "auto drip" mod i know of is for the GG and it looks freaking ridiculous over on vapersforum (dot) com , there is a user who made a mod called the maHmba ... it's sweet , and not for sale unfortunately. It has an autodrip system.

have you tried the spring mod? works amazing on 510 carts...I get like 12-14 drops and carts last 3-4 hours easy...thats heavy vapin on a passthrough
