If you plan to buy the orange box soundtrack (which is indeed pretty cool), I'd rather recommend buying the Steam game Audiosurf instead. It's $9.95 as well and includes the orange box soundtrack (as 192 kb/s mp3s). Besides, it is an absolutely fun, addicting game.
Mono it might be, this harmonises pretty well. Nice.

If you tried to split the 2 songs into 2 sides, you didn't accomplish it. If you didn't try it, then you should next time.

Youtube actually compresses sound into Mono. I didn't find that out until i'd uploaded it.

Try rendering the video in 3000KBPS or a high bitrate and the highquality option will be added allowing stereo.
