@anold130 Actually, they're not losing ideas. They're adding remakes to the collection of ideas they already have, thus, more productions. Also, this particualry field (inlcuding voice action, animation, illustration, graphic design) is actually going UP in demand over the next 4 years.
Remakes show someone else's perspective of a story or upgrade to it (if they can pull that off) for the modern time to keep the franchise active.

I disagree. Hulk 2003 is so anticlimactic...and it's just kind of unsatisfying IMO...although i can't put my finger on the reason why. I loved this one.
And in answer to your question why did they make this one, i'd say to create more hype for the avengers movie that they're putting together.
You remember at the end Tony Stark told him they are building a "team", well he meant the avengers & iron man and the hulk are part of the avengers which they are making an avengers movie in 2012.

This movie could have been better. People said the Hulk looked more realistic in this one than the first one. But I thought it looked completely fake in all the day scenes, especially in that one sequence when the Hulk is fighting that guy who ends up becoming the Abomination. His movements were blurry like a cartoon, and the sunlight wasn't even hitting him correctly.

nope hulk will not be an avenger. if you saw the very end when the hulk is running, you will see choppers chasing him with their spotlights and the general still wants to make a weapon out of the stuff that's inside him.

I could juuuuust get my head around the laughably bizarre elements within this film; the comically dramatic acting of both Tim Roth and John Hurt, the prolific supporting roles of designer stubble, the machine gun-like staccato of cliched dialogue and let myself enjoy it but Liv Tyler's fucking ridiculous lip job just killed it for me. Jesus, what is with this country's image modification obsession??? F'ing shame.

This movie could have been better. People said the Hulk looked more realistic in this one than the first one. But I thought it looked completely fake in all the day scenes, especially in that one sequence when the Hulk is fighting that guy who ends up becoming the Abomination. His movements were blurry like a cartoon, and the sunlight wasn't even hitting him correctly.

this is by far way better than the 2003 ang lee version of "hulk" which sucked
the new hulk has better graphics, a way better actor, and actually follows the storyline along w/ introducing "the abomination" this movie rocked, just wished it was a bit longer to pass the 2 hour mark would have made it more enjoyable as if it already wasnt enjoyable

wrong 03 hulk was smaller and shorter and i liked both ut stil 03 is good if you like drama and alot of emotion but there was to much of that.he did not have a real villian and he died the dumbest way 08 hulk had more action and emmotion the other actor will return for the next one but still 08 ed norton was better for his i was an ex nerd look and he could act like he ahd the beast comming out.

nope hulk will not be an avenger. if you saw the very end when the hulk is running, you will see choppers chasing him with their spotlights and the general still wants to make a weapon out of the stuff that's inside him.
