DVD-9 has never been a medium for hi-definition. It's a standard definition medium. Otherwise, why do you need Bluray or HD-DVD? Notice that Halo3 has 720p written on the back of the box. But we all know that it's 640p. Is this false advertisment? No. The 720p legally means that the game is altered to not look bad on hi-def (stretched). that's all. But everyone thinks it means the xbox360 is hi-def.
