openmind930-open your mind, total sweeping generalization (aka b.s.) that only lazy or incompetent people are the only ones who complain, in fact quite the opposite. Most of the best, brightest, dedicated and hardest working people I know either left InBev of their own volition or were 'forced' out by InBev's unethical, abrasive tactics. By the way, you might want to earn to spell "incompetent" next time before you use it stereotyping others and displaying your incompetence.
@stemkowskip Your statement doesnt have any ground on reality. Sculley almost destroyed apple´s culture, people and results. Carlos Brito built a company that grew to be the world leader in just 20years. All the other leaders of beer companies were displaced by vision, talent and hard work. Thousands of talented people grew with and at Inbev. Lazy or incompent people are the only ones who complain, for the obvious reason that they are put out of the game. Guess you are part of this group...
What a b.s. trite and banal response; there is "no other side of the coin" unless you mean InBev phasing out all employee and retiree health benefits so employees and retirees pay essentially the full annual premium, yeah, that's just part of the "new culture"...glad we don't "fit" ! The people who are prospering are upper management, more' new culture'.

More proof ? Production is moving from the Newark brewery under the ruse to handle specialty products at other facilities (no mention of hiring more in those locatons though) and thus reducting the Newark workforce by approximately 100 positions.Translation, we are maximizing our profits to eventually shut down a higher cost brewery to maximize already rich executive salaries and bonuses. Bottom line: 100 families lose the head of household jobs despite years of loyalty. Greed.
Another b.s. CEO totally concerned about greed, people are fodder to him. I worked for AB for 25 years this guy is an embarrassment and a symbol of what's wrong in the world. Most people working for him can't wait to leave, he better hope the economy doesn't improve.
@crazyparty119 : I worked in his company for 3 years, who are you to tell me I don't know what I am talking about ? His girlfriend or his mother ? I just said that where I worked I saw none of the nice words of his speech. And for the "Great man", he sold all his shares and bought them back immediatly just before becoming an American citizen to save on taxes, so he has for sure more success than me, but dude, stop it, he is not mother Tereza...
OMG - I worked 3 years for this company. I cannot be very proud of it as usually talented people quit it after a few months... The real dream of Carlos Brito is the same than all "modern companies" leaders : to have their production in China and their Service centers in India. All these nice words are bullshit.
AB-Inbev is a "Fellatiocraty". The management is based on a very simple totallistarism system : pick up people easy to manipulate without any ability, give them a "dream" and a somehow "nice place in the system" and they will die for you as they know they would not get this position in a company where talent is required.
Once this is done, hunt costs. Any cost. Do not care if it is good or not on a long term view. What matters is the level of trust of the share holders. If the shares value rises : GOOD. If it goes down, tell your shareholders that you found out why, that everything will be better, with a nice speech it has to work... Poor world... P.S. For more infos about this company I highly recommend you to read this book : Animal Farm - George Orwell.

No manager wants success completely defined on the company’s terms. They want success defined by their own terms too.

He's done for the beer business what John Sculley did for Apple.

Words of people that do not fit on this culture. Important to hear people that have prospered on the company, see the other side of the coin!
