What he was saying was that this movie is not very good but Camilla Belle is gorgeous (both true). If you think that this is a good horror movie then there are a lot of films that you need to check out within the genre. The original version is easily ten times better and the first fifteen minutes are amazing.

I think that the stranger broke into the house,snuk into the children room,the babysitter heard something up the stairs,went to the childrens room to investigate,the babysitter turned on the light,the stranger attacked the children,slit their throats and then raped,stabbed and strangled the babysitter! :P

It's suppossed to show that the main killer in the movie, HAS indeed killed before. the girl in the house the first time (stacy) is his first victim), and Jill was destined to be his second. when the police arrive at the house stacy was in and they open the door, you hear screams, they didn't want to show you what happened so that way you could picture it for yourself, but in the original, it explains that their bodies were biten, beating, and torn. no weapon was used, simply his hands.

The movie is rated PG-13. So, they couldn't show how they got killed. Everyone in the house at that time was killed. They didn't tell you how they were kiled because 1) It's rated PG-13 and 2) it lets your imagination go wild.

From what I saw, I think this happened: The Stranger broke in, attacked the babysitter, ripped off her arm and beat the kids to death with it, or he just broke their necks. and stuff. lol. BIG imagination. hehe

I liked the film. Didn't love it, but had fun. It was kinda one of the first horrors I started with. Personally what scares me is the movies that have psycho's you don't know anything about attacking and you don't know where they are, and demonic possesion. I can deal with slasher's and monsters, but the psychological movies Like Silence of the Lambs with that Bufflao Bill guy, and the Exorcist scare me. As a remake and PG-13 film goes it wasn't bad. The problem was the trailer gave alot away.

The officer said that he there was no murder weapon so I think that the Stranger sneaked in the house, attacked the babysitter, ripped out her arm, snapped her neck and ripped it out, and them beat the kids with the babysitter's arm and them rip the kids apart. Yes, I have a big imagination.
