  • I look for gold and silver, and when I look at the posts, all I see is a bunch of idiots talking about abortion. No wonder our country is all f*cked up. You sheeple need to wake the F*ck up. THE DOLLAR IS DEAD, and you should be worrying about YOU not being as well. Too bad he can't take money from foreign "investors". In his defense, I do not know if he wants the AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE BILL. The "FED RESERVE" is a private corporation. Who are the owners? You investigate. "10 billion/BRAZIL"

  • he does

  • How about me dumbass? I think it's wrong to murder Iragis AND rape babies.

  • Iraqis, that would be

  • I said "often", doesn't mean everyone. Most "pro life" people and "christian" people think that way.

  • That is true in many cases. However, flipping the hypocrisy upside down doesn't erase the fundamental problem with either position. It's hard to justify murdering somebody, that's why it's best not to try, in my view.

  • Yep, from Canada here and wish I could donate. We don't have a lot of options for liberty here. Then again, I'd still rather be here than there, because we still have a fair amount of people working, besides those that chronically and generationally don't work.... Welfare sucks.

  • yup form Manitoba Fuck I hate the NDP

  • Thank you, Peter!

  • I want to give more, but i'm married and she's got a stick in her butt.

  • Well, take that stick out and put your dick in it.

  • I wish i was American so i could vote for peter and rand!! but at the same time I thank the heavens I'm not an American.

  • I've donated. I'm pulling for both Schiff and Rand Paul.

  • Get in the race already Peter! I'm tired of hearing you boast that you've raised so much money and you're not even running....

    Schiff for Senate!!

  • Also, what is up with that upside down pentagram over the Schiff for senate * 10 banner? I like the upside down pentagram to the right of his head...that had better be an accident.

  • I like most of what peter is saying, but I don't like how he dismissed the Chinese caller's concerns about Chinese product quality and balance sheet dishonesty. This is common knowledge: Lead paint fisher price children's toys, melamine formula milk...crappy cheap products that self destruct dangerously...Peter's Answer sucked, it was a cheerleader answer.

  • Chinese product quality is commensurate with Chinese product price. If it were not, they would not be able to sell their product. That is all Peter meant. Of course there are issues with quality, just as there are issues with price, just as there are similar issues in all market economies. It is for the market to work these things out. And there are few places where the market is working as well as in China. (And they still call themselves 'Communist', go figure...)

  • If you are going to keep gold and other precious metals at your house, you better consider security.

  • Why do we need a central bank in the first place? Why are we paying interest on our money for Chrissake?

  • All those fancy satanic designs on the bills take a lot of research and development to create... ;-)

  • Ha! We should rename the dollar to something like the "US Interest."

  • I was disappointed when I found out he is Pro-Choice.

  • he just thinks the federal gov't should stay out of it and should be state issue. he is also pro gay marriage and for the legalization of all drugs, can you handle it? you can't pick and choose the parts of the nanny state you like, we have to rip up the whole thing!

  • Wrong! He is for it being a state issue but he personally is pro choice. It's not surprising that he is a Libertarian running as a Republican and I do agree with him on most things except I was let down when I seen he is for pro choice. That is very important for me. I don't live in CT anyway so I can't vote for him.

  • haha you said "wrong" and then said "He is for it being a state issue" which is exactly what i said, how was i wrong? jeez you repubs are jackasses. who cares what some one thinks personally if they are not going to try to change anything? you want your elected officals to project your morals? isn't that the same problem with the leftist rt now? if you have a powerful gov't like bush and the repubs built up you end up having to hand it over to obama types and the dems. you need to get with it.

  • @ soundmoneyfan Wrong again. I wrote he is for it being a state issue but he personally is pro choice. I am only interested in his principles and values first and then I'll see how he is going to fix the mess. How he personally feels about abortion is a major issue. Its not just about protecting my morality. It is a deeply held conviction that murdering an unborn child is wrong. If he is going to be a representative of the people it's important to me. Bush did not represent all Republicans.

  • haha, come on man, you just said, "Wrong again. I wrote he is for it being a state issue but he personally is pro choice" at what point did i say that personally he is not pro choice?? were on this thread did i say he was a pro lifer? where was i wrong? haha. too funny that you pull the knee jerk reaction but don't even look at what i said. classic neo-con. i agree that abortion is wrong and as long as some one like peter is going to make sure my tax dollars don't go to pay for it, i'm happy!

  • my first comment was I was let down when I found out he is pro choice. You replied, and this would be the wrong part FYI: "he just thinks the federal gov't should stay out of it and should be state issue."

NO he is pro choice he doesn't just think it should be a state issue. He said if he were governor of CT he would legalize abortion.

Ron Paul thinks it should be a state issue but is against abortion. This is why I am let down with Schiff.

  • "at what point did i say that personally he is not pro choice?? were on this thread did i say he was a pro lifer? where was i wrong?

You implied it here by using the word "also": "he is also pro gay marriage and for the legalization of all drugs, can you handle it?

Why don't you go back and read the comments. BTW I am not a neo-conservative. Please define neo-conservative without Google/wikipedia. I want to know what I did that brands me as a neo-con. I do agree with your last sentence. Thanks

  • jeez give it up, you are wrong about what you thought i was implying via a youtube comment, i wasn't implying what you thought i was. you seem a little upset about it.

i called you a neo-con b/c you want your elected officals to force your conservative morals on some one else by wanting your elected officals to be pro lifers. using gov't for moral choices means using force. and i know you think it is cute, but i didn't get neo-con from wiki, i like robert higgs and ron paul's definition.

  • I didn't see a definition of neo con. Ron Paul the guy who you gt your definition of neo con from is pro life and he campaigns as such so your not making very much sense.

  • you still don't get it I DON'T CARE HOW RON PAUL FEELS PERSONALLY BECAUSE I KNOW THAT HE WOULD NOT TRY TO USE GOV'T ACTION TO IMPOSE HIS MORALS ON OTHER PEOPLE only a neo-con would do that. Paul and Schiff have the same idea on the issue,it is not fair to pro lifers to have to see the fuirts of their labor (tax dollars) fund something they don't agree with, same that is not fair to others to make abortion illegel like a neo-con pro lifer like you would want your elected officals to do

  • I like your point. The beauty of Ron Paul's position is that even if he was a homophobe, racist or religious fanatic it would be immaterial, because his political stance advocates a laissez-faire approach. The only vice Ron Paul could have that should affect his legitimacy is if he is hypocritical

  • Yes he will dummy. He is ok with banning gay marriage in his state. He believes that the states have a right to oppress individuals.

  • we are talking about federal gov't action, not talking about states, why call me dummy? your off topic. To your comment, we support RP so the federal gov't can't tell the states what to do. So the power is not centralized and there can be competition between state governments. Texas would want gay communities in their cities for culture, arts, charity, if they dont give them rights, it would be Texas loss and the gays could live free in another state. same with other "moral" choices.

  • LoL its funny RP supporters try to justify state tyranny. How bout saying that neither the State or Federal government can oppress individual rights. Oh no that will be to much for RP wouldn't it. Funny how RP supporters criticize California for allowing illegal immigrants to go to state funded schools but then turn around and scream State rights when it comes to banning abortion and gay marriage.

  • there would practically be a loose anarchy in states like MT and NH, you would have choices in your gov't and not shell out 30% of your paycheck to a single city that has money, power, and lobbyist streaming in from wall street to san francesco concentrated in one spot. you don't agree? if i'm in texas it would be a lot better to go to austin to appeal my elected official to not be tyrannical. i could move to a different state if they don't listen. It would be a start to a more voluntary society

  • You mean try to better your life by immigrating to another place? If Ron Paul supporters really believe that then why are they constantly bashing "illegal immigrants"? Illegal immigrants are basically doing what you just described yet you guys want to deport them. You RP supporters are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

  • you got it all wrong, if you listen to what RP says and not just pick up opinions from supporters on the web, you will find that he thinks everyone and anyone should be allowed to come here but should do it legal, it is not fair to the people who are trying to get here obaying the law for other people to skip the line. being a citizen and moving to a different state is not comparable if you used your brain. don't get mad that you are a staist and want to make sure you can keep your safty blanky

  • God damn you guys are lost. You claim your against the government but your implying that the government should control the movement of people. Then you say they should do it legally. Hmm you mean that immigrants need to be approved by a government bureaucracy before they can step foot in the country. I thought you guys were against bureaucracies. People like you make me sick.

  • if we want to lift the laws on immigration, like i do and i'm guessing you do too, we need to try to change the law, but to not enforce the laws on the books is nothing more that dishonesty from our gov't. change the law or make people follow it, i would like my gov't to work since i pay 30% a paycheck for it, why the hell does that make your butt hurt so bad?

  • I'm sure all the socialist that pay 30% of their paycheck want the socialist laws enforced too. Just like you xenophobes want the immigration laws enforce.

  • oh great one, we agree about immigration, you should find something better to do than talk noise for the solo purpose of saying you don't like RP. that's fine if you don't, but if you think things are fine now, than more power to you. the statist live on!

  • You call me a statist yet your the one calling for state rights. Your the one who wants the government to control immigration. You fucking hypocrite. And we don't agree on immigration I want free immigration and open borders. You paleocons don't.

  • jeez brother, if you had read what i said a couple of comments ago, i want free immigration and open boarders as well, but i want the law changed, i want the gov't to play by the rules it sets, i want almost all laws off the books, just protection of property rights, the federal gov't would have to shead it's laws first, and RP is the only guy i see in washington that seems serious about cutting back at the power of the state, i don't know why you hate him and his supporters, claim down

  • move to Canada you can have 60% of your money gone and half of that for rationed health care socailism doesn't work.. How can you listen to peter schiff and want socailism are you def

  • Where the did I say I want socialism you idiot. Just cause I not racist xenophobe like the rest of you RP supporters doesn't mean I want socialism. I'M 100% LIBERTARIAN.

  • could of fooled me

  • Tell where in any of my comments did i sound like a socialism? Because I want open borders that means I'm a socialist? Wow you RP supporters are really fucking stupid.

  • where did I say I was an RP fan your the one that sounds fucking stupid

  • I can spot you racist conservatives from a mile away.

  • what makes me a racist, how can you call marginalize conservatives as racists

  • well its mostly the paleoconservatives who hold racist views. There is also many racist paleos pretending to be "Libertarians" ie Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell etc.

  • whats a Paleoconservative

  • You should know your subscribed to a lot of them.

  • I'm Canadian I don't know all your little groups you like to put people in too me a Conservative is a Conservative and your right I subscribe to a lot of Conservative because I am a Consevrative that is also a libertarian becase in order to have liberties there needs to be Conservative government. So what is a Paleo conservative not trying to be argumentative just would like to be informed

  • Paleoconservative is someone like you who think they're are libertarian but they really aren't.

  • So what Makes you a libertarian than

  • libertarians believe both in economic liberty and social liberty. I believe in both.

  • so do I.. your starting to sound pretty retarded how can you say I'm not a libertarian because I'm also a conservative the two are very related

  • LOL no they are not.

  • how are they not what is evil Ron paul trying to take away from you

  • He wants to deport some of my family members for starters. He also wants to keep one of my cousins from marrying his BF. The man is not who you think he is.

  • I'm guessing your family members are ilegal aliens in which case they have the right to apply through the proper chanels because you can't just deport someone without cause and if your cuz is a fag he probably doesn't have any better chances with any other american Politicain.

  • LoL your conservatism is showing haha. I thought you were a libertarian? Calling people fags and illegal aliens is not very libertarian of you.

  • You are such a retard I'm glad my conservatism is showing. Your so dumb that you can't see how liberty goes hand in hand with conservative principals. Which makes you a Liberal not a libertarian

  • the thing about fags they are tyrannical by what they want they try to change the laws to make them feel more accepted but they never will because they are unnatural. take the vote in California after the people voted no they fo to the courts to force it down the people's throat.. Liberty would be for them to keep it to them selves like how I smoke Pot I don't blow smoke in your face so you'll like it libertaryansism is minding yout own business thats what it is for me anyways

    RP2012

  • Paul and Schiff agree that it should be a states decision and they say that is the constitutional way of going but they are in contrast on the issue. Paul pro life and Schiff pro choice. Did I mention Paul's sanctity of life act? Go look it up. Schiff said if he were governor of CT he would make it legal! Murder of unborn children is serious to me. A women shouldn't have the right to kill the child. DEFINE NEO CON AND SHOW ME HOW I AM ONE. PRO LIFE IS A PALEO CONSERVATIVE POSITION JUST ASK RP

  • i will only say this one more time b/c i have said in TWO previous comments, you just didn't read it or didn't like it. MY way to define a neo con is the same why i define a neo progressive, some one who will use gov't force to try to create a society that conforms to their morals. as long as your tax dollars don't go to pay for abortions i don't see the beef other than YOU THINK that it is wrong and YOU THINK you should use gov't force to make society match your morals, force is the key word

  • All I can say is I don't just think abortion is wrong I know it's wrong. WRONG!!!! That's not a definition of neo con and neo con and neo progressive aren't the same. If my idea of abortion is that it's murder, and it is, then why shouldn't government stop it from happening? You said in a prior post that you think abortion is wrong but it looks like you don't I'm confused. I guess since I voted for Ron Paul that makes me a neo con we both are pro life.

  • ew, sorry it doesn't match your google/wiki definition of a neo con, haha. neo cons and neo progressive do not have the same goals for society but they are similar in the way they want to go about forming the society they want, they want to use gov't which means using force. i look forward to the day when this can be a state by state discussion so that cali can't tell mississippi what to do and vice versa.

  • Why is it wrong to want to elect a government representative that is pro life which means he is against murder? So by your logic nobody from the government should tell others what to do even if it's murder? Abortion[murder] isn't just about morals but it's about the child's right to live. Should the child have constitutional rights like you and I? Yes. If I murder somebody and you think it's wrong just don't call the police and push your morals on me! Now do you see?

  • wow, that means you really don't get my logic, jeez. a pro choice women thinks she has claim over the unborn child inside her body, how can you say logicly that onje would also have a claim on the life of some one who is not an unborn child inside of your body?? there is no logic in what you are saying and i never implied that. i know that i will never make a neocon see the other side of the issue so i don't know why i try. it is your way or the highway

  • Alright I try to make it simple:

Abortion=murder Homicide=murder 2 things common are murder . Get it? Is murder okay? NO

Do you think homicide is murder? Yes. I hope.

Do you think abortion is murder? Yes or No. If you answer no you are pro choice. If you answer yes you are pro life.

Pro Life=Right to live. Mother and child are two different people.

Pro Choice=Right to kill. Mother has totalitarian rights over the child. Mother can murder baby if she wants.

    Pro Life=Child's has more liberty.

  • ignoring your emotional rhetoric, you almost hit upon the real question about abortion; When should a fetus start having rights (constitutional, ethcial, moral)? right at conception is silly (before or after the cell divides?) clearly no. 5 minutes before being born? clearly yes. where is the "line"? big question, somewhere in between.

  • It all depends on Statutes defining when life technically begins. I'm not entirely sure so don't quote me on this, but I think in New York life is defined when the brain has developed enough in order to emit brainwaves. It's used in criminal law, where someone murders a pregnant woman, they can be charged for double homicide when the fetus has developed up to that point.

  • I always was told science has determined life begins at conception. It's really hard to say exactly when life technically begins but once a women finds out she is pregnant we can say for sure that life has started. It doesn't make sense that a person can be charged double homicide for killing a pregnant woman but that same women has a right to kill the baby and get off Scot free. I never have understood this twisted logic.

  • define life. if a cell (zygote) is defined life then scratching your nose is murder. I agree the laws are contradictory. It primarily comes from people not deciding when a blastocyte, fetus, etc. becomes a citizen/person that starts having rights. It's way complicated and I usually only hear the shrill extremists on either side.

  • I happen to agree entirely with Peter, abortion should be a State issue, no a federal one, and each state should have a clearly defined statute regarding when life legally begins, so as to determine the legality of an abortion up to a certain point.

  • @ rationalCrash

I'm sorry sir or madam I don't remember writing to you. I was writing to soundmoneyfan.

  • By that logic, all murder should be legal. After all, tax dollars are used to fund the police and courts that put people away.

What about rape? Isn't criminalizing that also just pushing morals upon other people?

  • you should read Anarchy and the Law, its pretty interesting stuff. a lot of it has to do with how a free market legal system works

    very interesting stuff

  • wow weak response. if you think life starts at conceptioin like i do, you morally will disagree with abortion because you can't infring on the natrual rights of others including theft, taking some one's life or assult, but there is a whole faction of women that think they have rights that are more important than their kids and they use the excuss that the kid is unborn. people need to convince them they are wrong instead of having gov't do it or going and shooting doctors leaving church.

  • What is your position?

First you make it sound like you're for abortion because it was people using force to form the society that they wanted. (or something like that)

    But now you're against abortion?

Are we even arguing against each other?

I also believe that life starts at conception, and am therefore against abortion.

  • There is no reference, whatsoever, to abortion in the constitution of the United States. If people want the constitution to address abortion, then they need to elect representatives who can amend it. The supreme court overstepped their mandate in Roe Vs Wade.

I say this, even being pro-choice.

  • @caltrop69

Agreed. Ron Paul had a bill called the Sanctity Of Life Act. It stated that an unborn child had rights under the constitution and couldn't be killed without the due process of law. Also, abortion would be stripped from the jurisdiction of the supreme court.

  • I'd be right there with those who would have voted down the amendment, through my representative, though I agree with the method.

I think it's important that the Supreme Court NOT legislate. Their purpose is pretty clearly delineated in Article III.

  • 27 minutes before he took a phone call!!

  • The first 10 minutes of this vid was about politics!! As I am from the UK and found Peter Schiff and Marc Faber helpful in the downturn with their knowledge of economics I am now starting to get bored with this channel rapidly!!

  • he is running for senate here in the states, that is the reason. don't hate a bother, he is trying to change the system one election at a time.

  • He may be running for Senate...get used to it.

  • then dont listen...

  • It's not so much that 'mainstream media haven't figured it out', as that they're under control of special interests.

You said it yourself, 'propaganda', so that's mostly lies, ommission, filtering, spinning.

  • Apple computers are also made in china. Their own brands may be junk but corporations that move production to China do not necessarily make junk

  • good point

  • What if China, being an illiberal nation, is willing to have just enough capitalism to support it's military growth but no more and, unwilling to let it's middle class grow too large due to fears about internal political instability, finds a way to stifle economic growth?

Can they have the massive economy that's predicted for them and maintain their political structure? Either way, the "China story" is very risky due either to political instability or political interference in the economy, no?

  • I thought the same thing maybe to iffy due to the heavy Chinese government control. We shall see.

  • So, EPHCX, will only be available at financial institutions Euro-Pac makes an agreement with? Will/can they make an agreement with Canadian institutions? So I guess it wont be traded on any exchange, right.

  • "... a licensed broker" That is not that impressive of a title. I don't think brokers are especially thought well of. That is the kind of thing his advisers should recognize and tell him to drop and just go with, "President of...".

  • If I win the lottery watch out.

  • Schiff is at $871k as of now

  • Schiff good job raising money for you campaign, I hope you win your future campaign. Don't forget to thank your supporters! You have to let people know how much you really appreciate their help.

  • Make a dealer agreement with Vanguard and I am in EPHCX.

  • Can foreigners living the US (aka me) contribute for your campaign? How about Green Card holders?

  • you have to be US citizen technically, get a US citizen friend the money to donate

  • It is illegal for any foreign national to make contributions to US elections. Moreover, and very importantly, it is also specifically illegal to attempt to circumvent those prohibitions by giving money to a US citizen to make the contribution for you. You risk doing serious harm to Peter Schiff's campaign by doing anything like this. There are other ways for foreigners to be supportive (rate, favorite and comment on Peter's videos for instance).

  • Nice dance analogy hahah

  • I bet the Bernie dolls on sticks will be popular in 2012. In fact, I'm going to take out a patent on them now and become a millionaire ( of course a millionaire then will be nothing compared to what it is today ).

  • Yeah, probably be about $1,000 today lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Peter Schiff needs to start an ETF for the smaller investor.

  • agree

  • Lawrence O'Donnell was the dude who blitzed Peter Schiff on "The Ed Show". It was not a debate. O'Donnell was unfair in the time that he allowed for responses, and he would pose a loaded question and then try to put words into Schiff's mouth and then would shift the issue. I believe that O'Donnell feels threatened by the intellectual honesty posed by Schiff -- why else would O'Donnell be so hostile?

  • We need libertarians in all states to run as republicans. If there was a campaign conducted here in northern California, I would definitely volunteer my time.

  • Pat Toomey in PA is Peter Schiff 2. He was the chairman of the Club for Growth and is actually probably going to beat Specter but more support couldn't hurt!

  • You could get involved with Campaign for Liberty.

  • "Step it up!"

Love it - thanks Peter - I look forward to all your vids!

    :)

  • support his campaign and allow the revolution to continue!

  • The music is one of the best parts.

  • Awesome job on the fundraising. I'm not from Conn., but I can't wait to watch the campaign.

  • If you are a US citizen, don't just watch, contribute. Peter Schiff in the Senate won't just help the citizens of Connecticut, it will help all the people of the US.

  • tell the people of connecticut to vote for him then.

  • Shut the fuck up you coward.

  • how am i a coward can i vote for him? No!!!! i live in another state dumbass

  • what is the europac china fund ticker symbol?

ephcx did not work for me.

  • I could be wrong, but I don't think it is completely set up yet.

  • I really love this about Ben Bernanke on 57:40 , Contrary Indicator...

  • hell yeah peter. That's cuz you rock

  • I thought we were coming out of the recession? (lol)

  • you should run for senate and get people in your state the vote for you

  • he has an exploritory committee going right now for senate

  • Odin422,

China is getting paid according to their productivity. If we forced U.S. companies to pay for american levels of productivity (american wages) to chinese workers (working at much less productivity) then they would NEVER get hired. Protectionist like you want chinese to not raise their standard of living.

  • Actually both protectionists and free marketeers like Peter Schiff realize that Chinese standard of living is being artificially suppressed through the Communist gov't's policies, while American standard of living is artificially inflated. Both protectionists and free marketeers want Chinese standard of living to rise; the sooner that happens, the better off Chinese and American people will be in the long run.

  • Pretty much, but then again they gotta start somewhere after being knocked back into the dark ages by the communists. The more a country grows and develops, the less slave-like labor exists.

They may eventually end up more free than us, or at the very least richer - if their government doesn't screw up once their leader dies.

  • possible.

  • America = slave labor

    Europe = slave labor

Argentina = slave labor etc. etc.

welcome to the real world. we were all born slaves:) the sooner you realize what happened, the sooner you can do something about it.

Are you a 'citizen'? Why did your parents certify your birth? Why is your birth certificate on 'bonded' paper? (you know what a bond is, don't you?)

I could go on. Watch 'Constitution Class' or 'It's An Illusion' sometime.

    good luck on your journey.

  • well.....China=14 hour work days for $0.49 cents an HOUR!

Organ harvesting and other constant human rights crimes.

  • That's not slavery, that's poverty. It is simply not true that there is a bottomless pit of wealth that can be drawn upon by nice employers, to pay people higher wages. It is not the case that if people are paid low wages that it is because they are being ripped off. If the vast majority of a country is impoverished and unable to find work, the wages paid to workers inevitably 'has' to be low until all those people find work. Only then can it really start to rise.

  • A debt money system means the people of the country with that system will always be working to pay off the "interest" on the money its government "borrows" from its central bank, much like our government does with the "Federal" Reserver when politicians don't have the guts to raise taxes for whatever crappy government spending project. The hand that lends is above the hand that borrows right? We are all slaves to the bankers. That's why we need MONETARY REFORM above all else.

  • True

  • Nice, time for my weekly horror story before heading to bed

  • Give us an agriculture fund!

  • smart man

  • Great show Peter. :-]

  • lol.......... in a good way

  • lol
