@rjp9871 Of course, its a WCW video release. Its not a shoot, it's just the way videos were back then. All the DVD/video releases today are shoots or half shoots anyway.
Whether those fans who threw Raven back were real or not doesn't really matter. The feeling and excitement of the crowd pushing him back; the meaning of the title and the streak; the match itself, and everything else was what made wrestling, back in those times, cool. Now, we have fucking Cena.
Anybody that debates whether this is real,fake or staged is a moron. It's just entertainment and that's it. The wrestlers are all superb athletes, and are there to entertain the croud.
man o man you talk about some good times and good entertainment late 90s wrestling i think i was in the sixth grade when my younger brother and me would keep switchin from the USA channel (wwf) and TNT (wcw) on monday nights and then go to school the next day and say oh did you see goldberg do this or stone cold do that all day . We even had the wresting action figures with the wrestling ring made out of a show box until we got the real thing lol
i wonder if when Raven tried to leave and the fans through him back, was supposed to happen. if anyone knows the details on that please let me know, thanks.
@lsvtecb18c1 -rumor was he got scared for real and tried to escape, but he was supposed to run another way, and the fans who stopped him were never old to let him through
@lsvtecb18c1 From what I know they don't allow Fans to touch the wrestlers in such a way due to safety for the wrestlers so they could have been stage hands pretending to be fans since especially now you see security around the ring for when the fight spills over the barricade.
Though if they did it back then I don't know and we'll probably never know, though it was fund to see the fans throw Raven back.
