  • @hivquestions apparently, he did. timothy ray brown now AKA the berlin patient has been under medication for both leukemia and HIV for sometime now and the bone marrow transplant was performed intended only for his leukemia. fortunately, his donor was one of the very few around the world who has the immunity for HIV-AIDS. those people (donor's ancestors)are known to scientists as the ones survived the great plague and developed the immunity in their system and passed through their descendants.
