Anyone can use any weapon effectively. I've got a level 33 Mordecai that uses SMGs more than anything. You can level up your proficiency with any weapon, and even though Mordecai has access to skills exclusively for Pistols and Snipers, no one's forcing you to use them. I've got gunslinger and rogue skills that boost my bloodhawk and my overall ability with ALL weapons. Anyone who says that Mordecai is only good with Snipes and Pistols is an idiot.

How is his health? is he easily killed? its just that I want to play as a Mordecai who doesn't specialise in any particular gun and I've got the right setup for it but I have no idea if he will die quickly

There's an ability on the right path that gives you chaotic hp regen after you kill an opponent. That, and normal Regen pretty much keeps me alive all the time.

His health is fine, you can augment it with an energy shield that gives 40% extra HP.

@Porrages  Still, playing without the "right" guns for the character makes the game boring, because if you're using SMGs, you probably won't upgrade any Sniper or Gunslinger skills, making them useless... and the Rogue skills only help Bloodwing... If you wanna play with different weapons, I sugest you create new characters... It's a great way to play without ignoring certain skills...

But Holand is a character with suitable skills for all weapons ._.

rolland is good with all weapons, if you want to be equally good with all weapons use roland, mordecai is better than anyone with snipers but isnt good with anything else, rolland is good with everything

The game just looks so much better with more people. In the 4 player vids it just looks like so much more fun. I think I'll only be using single player as a way to stop and check out the shops for upgrades and stuff and kind of figure out which spec is best for me. The co-op is where the gameplay shines.

Yeah, I like that there is drop-in drop-out co-op. So if I need help with a misson or I just want to play with a friend, he can join without me going back to the main menu setting up a game and inviting him.
