Also..... (haha...) snare sounds a little dead. Maybe tightening up the bottom head would help find the frequency at which the snare wires will take a longer decay and create a more dynamic note. Now get mad at me and reply in anger ;)
Also, if you have a mixer or headphone amp with multiple outs in the drum cage, you could probably record the monitor mix into a laptop (if you have one) or the input on your video camera (if it has one) with an 1/8th" or 1/4" or some radio shack combination thereof. That way you'd have the music with the drums.
Suggestion: With this style of music, when you go open-hat for the chorus, you might try tightening up your top hat against the felt and raising the open setting slightly more so you get less of a no-signal/tv snow sound and a little more pop-fusion open sizzle sound. Less trashy, brighter. Those drum heads are some of my fav's. GJ.
