Whats bad is that they tell your kids to pledge a allegiance to the country with out knowing what it really is. Most 5 or 6 years old dont even know were they live let a lone know what the pledge of allegiance is.What i think they need to do is wait till there older and tell them what it is.Then ask the kids do they know what it is and then see if they want to pledge of allegiance as a free citizen.

I'm not so sure about that "one nation, indivisible" bit any more. I don't think I would have bought it in 1776 or 1861 and I think I buy into it less in 2009. I'm starting to think that States seceding (or threatening secession) is the only way to bring DC back to reality and their 18 specific and enumerated powers.

I'm not so sure about that "one nation, indivisible" bit any more. I don't think I would have bought it in 1776 or 1861 and I think I buy into it less in 2009. I'm starting to think that States seceding (or threatening secession) is the only way to bring DC back to reality and their 18 specific and enumerated powers.

i know what repentance of self and sin means. and Kingdom of God means seeking doing His will not your. first repenting from sin, then walking in holiness (john 14:22) then being fully guided by the Holy Spirit and being led by the Spirit of God as sons of God (Romans 8:15) - when guided by spirit of God - doesnt mean you act like a vegetable without opinion, neither was Jesus like that. John:7:24: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

I can understand your zeal for God- but Jesus was trying to teach a kingdom that was radically different than what was "expected." Do you want to show people what God is - or do you want to hit them over the head and judge them? People will listen to you if they know that you truley care about them. Jesus taught this. In Britain we have a 1000 year history of opposing the State. We never lost those ideals. THOSE were the ideals of your Founding Fathers who [of course] were once 'British'.
