This cmd command does not work very often, the more effecient way to shut down all the computers is to write a program C, C-Lite,C++,Java will all work find. This program has to force a command to the router which runs the command EWX_POWEROFF(C++ syantax) on all the computers. you also have to know the address your sending it to. Mac, or IPv4, IPv6 will all work fine. Hacking is far harder than just throwing a command in the Command Prompt.

@georgik99 Why are you entering an IP? You'd enter the workstation number. Such as shutdown -i then enter; then type in the workstation number. Another cool trick (if youre school is on LAN and you've either added your comp as Admin, or it's open is taskkill: such as: taskkill /s workstation /u username /p password /im explorer.exe* /f /t
