@mtsportbabe87 It only seems that way during the races. When he is on during the practice shows, and during SPEED's coverage of testing from Daytona, he is excellent to listen to.
@kharvrules29 lol of all people to respond, nothing personal but im glad i didint break my wrist punching the wall after the 07 daytona 500 being a lifelong mark martin fan. I had a grudge against kevin for the longest time since then and still change the channel when any replays of that come up but oh well he did what he had to do. As you know being a mark martin fan has been very aggravating but he handles it better than the fans do.
@solaire66 hahaha I can feel your pain and I more than understand. I was at the 07 race. Unfortunately I couldnt see for shit cuz I was on the superstretch, but it was one of the greatest moments of my life. Best finish ever. I'd feel that way regardless of who won. Absolutely awesome. Let's hope for another great race next month and another great season.
This is when it was fun to watch Busch racing. I remember going to Dover on Saturdays and it would be a treat to have 1-2 cup drivers in the field. Now its the Cup lite series.
@NAVGFan NASCAR just needs to make a rule. If you start more than 7 cup races in a year, you can't race in a lower division. Guys like Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards could race in the Nationwide Series early in the year but after two months they would be out and the regulars would be all that is left.
Thanks for posting! I've been looking for this clip for a long time. I remember watching this race when I was little and being excited to see Bessey, a guy from Maine, finally win a race.
Great clip. I remember being at this race when I was about 9 years old, and Buckshot was my favorite BGN driver. I was very mad that (I thought anyhow) Joe Bessey spun him, but its taken 12 years, but I finally know now that Buckshot just lost the back end of the car.
Top 10 sweep by Chevy... The way it oughta' be

It's funny watching Bessey drive through Buckshot's crew members. He didn't have time to deal with that; he had a win to celebrate.

if u look closely when they're goin into turn 2, he just nipped and got buckshot sideways. he spun coming out of 2

Joe Bessey's only win in the Busch Series came at Dover but well-deserved for his longtime commitment to the series.

It's nice to see a Busch race without drivers from the Cup Series stinking it up.

@NAVGFan
Thats because the real drivers stay in the best series (Jimmie Johnson etc...)
acenace24 1 year ago
@NAVGFan Bobby Labonte and Ricky Craven were in this race, Cup drivers were wrecking in this race.

If that happened today, those crew members could had been looking at suspensions.

What a crash plus the one person fleeing for safety by the guardrail in the infield.
