Trying to locate a clip of the Steve Allen Show from 1971 in which my father came on stage from the audience. I've tried for 39 years. What is your soarce?
Oh... you mean the way Steve Allen was sitting down at the beginning? You mean THAT "sit"? I guess he was sitting kind of low but it didn't seem that bad to me. For most of it they were standing up, I think. Or did you mean "shit"? Impossible! Only a low-grade moron could screw up one word in a measly six word comment and surely that couldn't describe YOU!

Is it really my fault, or is it the fault of those teacher's who have neglected to teach me well as a result of dismal salaries, low motivation, etc. etc.? So yes. No problem, man, I had the same crappy edumacation myself. And for the record, I don't think the bit that Bill does in this clip is very good myself, in fact it's a bit excruciating. It's mainly an archival curio from a bygone era and I've uploaded it for the many rabid fans that Bill has out there (he's somewhat "underground") who have never seen his pre-Access work.

I wouldn't say that's an unfair assessment, but Bill doesn't cotton to the Steve Martin comparrisons. Still, it's hard to not imagine he may have influenced Steve in the development of his act in the 70's.
