Not a clue, Maya blames Mitsuomi, and Mitsuomi takes credit for his death. Going in to the fight they knew it would be the death of one of them, namely Shin, he wanted to die, Mitsuomi wanted to kill him. As a result I guess Maya blames Mitsuomi for it since if the fight never happened Shin wouldn't of been killed? Not to sure, it's a confusing matter. =/

@StephenWago Agreed,it was obvious that someone would die,and probably Shin since thats what he wanted wasn't it? Maya might blame Mitsuomi because he went too hard on Shin but,Shin went hard on Mitsuomi too.Maya also takes some of the blame since it was mostly her fault that Mitsuomi got hit by that attack and his heart rate went sky high....Well,Shin probably wanted to hit Mitsuomi too,but,Maya is still to blame for that.That doesn't change the fact that she's one of my fav character's though

@StephenWago continuation: She's also my fav anime girl,since she's cool and strong .....and pretty.In this anime ALL are to blame XD Everyone plays a part in the story and it's comlicated....Let's hope the anime will someday continue.

i love Tenjho Tenge!!! this is one of my favorites....Regardless of whether SHin was good or bad. he's gone now and he still affects the lives of others while he's gone..

Shin is a bampot, killing people cause he can't control his powers, clinging to people dragging them down then refusing to die even though he knows it's the right thing to do, and then killing hid GF to get Mitsuomi, how low he is.

Yea and none of this he was at fault for, it's the people around him that caused all that to happen. People fear death, theres nothing wrong with that. She got what she deserved after using Shin and being a spy for Dogen Takayanagi, she's horrible. Using him as something to test Mitsuomi. And it's Maya fault his obsession with her got worse. And it wouldn't of existed if he nut job parents hadn't locked him away, or trusted the sword to Maya at the age of frickin' EIGHT! Anyway yea research ;)

Shin didn't want to use the Ryuugan because he can't control himself without the sword, so even if he defeated Mitsuomi, he would have harmed everyone in the room

Plus he went for a cheap shot and hit Mitsuomi trough his girlfriend

This fight is alot clearer in the manga
