  • This is a FAIL Pad Thai.. so not Thai.. @@

  • arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg shut the music off

  • Isn't the wok supposed to be scortching hot?

  • I like the boiled noodles, but I do not like the sugar. I ordered this dish at a restaurant recently and sent it back. Too sweet. Nice video, good job, just wish individual food items were on a single color tablecloth so they can be visible.

  • lol.. u cute

  • It's like Pancit Palabok of Philippines...I have to try cooking Pad Thai...but I love Pancit Palabok still hehehe

  • Are you guys Filipinos? hehehe

  • No way! Heat cooking oil, add chopped garlic, add crushed peanuts, throw in shrimp, fish sauce, cilantro - dump on noodles. Fry egg. Dump on noodles (which you added Pad Thai sauce to). Add bean sprouts. Eat! Easy method. Can use ketchup instead of Pad Thai sauce. It works surprisingly well.Just add fish sauce, and perhaps lime juice.

  • nice kitchen very spacious

  • kawali.... in Indonesia, we call it Kuali!!! (or kuwali) hahahahaha loveee it

  • @Strawbearies i like indonesian style better

  • kuya pad thai noodles no garlic and onion...

  • That wok hasn't been seasoned :O

  • kuya henri... this rocks!

  • Kuya, Nice work! Informative and good humor...I like your style...I need a camera girl! What are you shooting with? I use a pair of Flips, but I have not learned the video editing end of it...I'm on the right path though! Keep up the good work-Curt

  • coo vid. But I hate you cuz now I'm hungry. That must tast soooo good!!

  • mahusay ..susubukan ku yan.

  • ummm,im hungry...but who sings the song in your video?

  • Nice video..... just get rid of the very bad music!!!!

  • hahahaha dude ur funny... frying tofu? you just put the oil in.... bwahahhaha good job though!!!

  • I don't think you are Thai and you should not boil the Noodle

  • You, sir, are awesome.

  • cool video! i thought you were psychic, as i was saying to myself, thats a cool song.. then seconds later it said "cool song, no?" i will be attempting pad thai this weekend!

  • HENRY! HAHAHA i can't believe i stumbled onto your vid hahaha

  • wow, thats the biggest wok I've ever seen in home kitchen

  • thats a killer wok. suckers like 3 feet wide.

  • great video!

  • LMAO ask your mom!

  • Sorry but you are not supposed to boil the noodles. I bet the noodles are mushy and way too soft. It has to have a bit of a bite. Soak them in cold water for at least 45 minutes to an hour. When you stir fry them in the wok, you just add a small amount of water and let them soften in the wok.

  • that's true, you don't have to boil the noodles!

  • When you let them soften in the wok and retain some of the bite from the noodles your Pad Thai will be so much better. Also you should try making your own Pad Thai sauce. It isn't very hard. Make a large batch so you can use when ever company comes over. All you need is some Tamarind pulp, fish sauce (Patis) and Coconut sugar (palm sugar). Keep making it until you have practically perfected it.

  • @silentverse

It depends on the noodles. You can boil but not too long.

  • I've seen them just dipped in boiling water for literally like 1 second.

  • @Cabocoleman I always wondered if to boil the noodles or not cos when I make it, it tends to come out a bit soft so glad for the info cos I love the spicy-sweet taste of pad thai especially with tofu :)

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Making me hungry!

  • aroi jung hoo! xD

  • I like that you use that song from chungking express at the end (or was it a different Wong Kar-Wai movie?).

  • yes that song is from chunking express !

  • ROTFLMAO!

  • ahah this is so awesome, thanks bunches, hahah (or have ur mom help, u wuss) lol that made me laugh

  • that's cool

  • omg this dish is amazing and delicious but ITS ALOT OF WORK AND INGREDIANTS :'( Much tougher than it looks! but worth it

  • nice try... i suggest u put noodle first then beansprout last.... because beansprout cooks fast and will not be crunchy if u overcook. thanks for the vid i m making my first pad thai tonight

  • it's good, but he mess it up along the mid.

there....nice try n keep it up...

  • Yummers... I LOVE Pad Thai. :)

  • Is that pad thai sauce any good? or do you prefer to make your own?

  • omg henry you are so weird why dont you ever make me and brittany tasty things like that?!

  • lol very cute -

  • this was awesome.. im soo making this. Great subtitles

  • very yummy..it makes me hungry for it..

  • ARE YOU?

do u even have a mirror in ur house?

  • 還有我猜豆腐大概是炸得稀巴爛碎了,因為鍋子還沒熱就下豆腐當然會黏鍋,難怪他忘了放豆腐進去炒麵。不過豆腐真的能炒麵嗎? I've never seen tofu in fried noodles, but I'd love to try this recipe. That sounds like fun. The problem is how do I stir fry the noodles without breaking the tofus? They are so delicate.

hey! The noodles look ... interesting, and the demonstrator is cute!

  • why kuya? are u pinoy?

  • omg nice job lol..

    isnt it missing tofu tho?

    and btw ur cutee :)

  • MMMMMmmmmmmmmm

  • yumm! tofurecipesonline

    come visit us! :]

  • Well done! The Pad Thai looks yummy!!

  • The word "pad" from Pad Thai is pronounced as "putt" (golf) not as "pat".

    Yeah, enjoy your meal!

  • you shouldn't use that kind of fish sauce it's the fake one it's a copy of the real fish sauce the one that taste good is the vietnamese one so yeah the expensive one.

  • the guy's wearing a warren tshirt! i graduated there too! haha

  • Appropriate music...Yummy food thanks!

  • pare, that's a lot of pad thai sauce?

  • or noooo its a thai palabok!

  • its like thai pancit!!

    hahhahaha hella good!!

  • To SuperGamePlayer: errr, ok. But why bother writing a comment in here?

Let see... Because you NEED every one watching this video to know your father is a chef?- So what? No one cares.

  • next time put the egg in a glass or something and scramble it with a fork before you add it.

but the pad thai looks freakin awesome

  • Thank You! I tried this and it is delicious! I made it with some personal touches, but I appreciate that you posted this. I definately think that you should try softer quieter music or not have it at all, because I could barely hear the directions. Anyway, do you know any thai soups? Maybe you could post them. Thanks.

  • To avoid sticking or burning the ingredients on the wok, you need to make the temperature higher, wait until the wok is very hot enough to add anything, add more oils than the dish you videotaped. Especially when you cook meat, poutry, eggs, and rice, those steps are very important.

  • dude havent you heard of a non stick wok, looks way to mushy

  • Kill the music. I can't hear you.

  • how cute...Kuya Henri. love the way you introduced him. the pad thai looks yummy.

  • That looks yummy...I love Pad Thai

  • just nice kitchen cook it so suck

  • why u put the bean sprout so early? u should put them last so that u wont overcook them.

  • no mushrooms. no, no. You Fail.

Sorry, but it seems people are especially defensive of the authenticity of this particular dish.

    who knows why?

  • It's been so americanized at most restaurants, it's not even funny.

  • oh! you're probably most right. the mushrooms may make it a bit inauthentic, but i do love them so!

  • dude..thats a nice kitchen...

  • i didn't know there was pad thai sauce mixed together already. i love bean sprouts in stirfry noodles.
