No an earful would be many of them set up to radiate that in all directions! (My town has such a setup that works and they use it for a lunch whistle. It is quite awesome to be near it . It is used to call the fire department or ambalance.,
@dockwellian45 dude me neither, all i have is a little mechanicle siren that cam off a 67 police car (check it out on my channel. but dont feel bad, your time is comming
Wow, lucky you! Where I live there are at least two T-Bolts I've seen that are still on their poles but I don't know if they still work or not (most of the ones around here are 2001s)
Yeah. someone mailed me the manual for the thunderbolt. The horn weighs 100 Lbs and the siren and rotator by itself weighs 200. Total siren weight is 300 Lbs. Oh and the blower is about 800. I never would have been able to get that home.
I tripped on a siren I know how u feel

how heavy would you say the horn was alone and the chopper/rotator alone
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@TheFiremansavage the horn I think is close to 100 Lbs, the rest of the siren about 200.

The SD-10 is about 550 lbs.

I picked some SD-10 guts a couple weeks ago. They were not nearly as heavy [stator/motor combo] as I thought. Maybe 300lbs max.
