@brandonszb that is a myth, is the red light wavelength is filtered ot under more than 3 feet of fresh water, it appears grey deeper than that

the reel is a Bantam CRESTFIRE Shimano. that's how it is written on the reel. I think it was around 70$ when I bought it at a sporting goods store on the 32nd street Navy base in San Diego.
