This preview puzzles me. Although still definitely some of the more competent technical death metal I have heard, the similarities to their earlier work are minimal compared to the similarities to Meshuggah or Gojira.

Pest seems the be the clearest link to their prior work as it's composition and intensity would belong seamlessly on Organic Hallucinsis.

Born of Osiris will never stop being core and breakdown after breakdown. @reverbisland just listened to that new demo track...michael's leads ans solos are good BUT HE NEEDS TO STOP THAT CLEAN SINGING! He is not Akerfeldt and needs to stop trying to be specially in the wrong areas and that chorus was so wrong. Killed the brutality and is one reason why they don't impress me as much as Decapitated and their new material here. Neuraxis is even more brutal than The Faceless. But w.e its all a matter of opinion. I will say this i rather listen to the Faceless than BDM.

Neither the Faceless or Born Of Osiris have very normal, cookie-cutter breakdowns like the deathcore bands you mentioned (Suicide Silence is scum, WhiteChapel isn't quite as bad) All of the Faceless' breakdowns are always interesting and well-put-together. I think this boils down to you being close-minded, incapable of even attempting to find the beauty in other kinds of music.

And if the bands so far apart and there a fans are why are they always grouped together on a tour? The parts where Rafal is screaming... That was a bit of a joke, but not entirely. There are some hardcore moments in there in terms of style and vocal tone and in the context of metal, that would be metalcore. Plus the vocals are just not guttural and/or deep enough to balance out the tone of the guitars and generally have an innate element of hardcore infused in them. From what I've heard so far, in terms of writing, this is a step down from OH.
