Well the goal of most YouTube content providers are to get enough subscribers to pay their living expenses via advertisements.

Yes that means getting to the footage would be 10% more annoying, but the quality and time spent making the product could go up greatly.

I don't know of any chatroom apps, I was thinking an instant messenger but that killed the idea at 1:28.

Don't respond to the comments attached to videos. If people want to ask a question, have them ask in the chatroom/forum/channel comments.

I think a forum is better, in my opinion. Something like proboards or phpBB would work fine. A chatroom...IRC is the first thing that comes to mind but I'm not sure you can find channel for that.

I'm not sure, actually. Maybe you have to update your flash player. Or perhaps you just don't have a good connection? Try right-clicking on the chat, then settings, then click on the icon with the green arrow leading in the folder and then put the slider to the very right. That might work.

Alright for the chat: I would suggest a Steam group. People can login whenever they want on the chat, I think there are moderation abilities, and it's easy to use (application rather than website). Now I've heard that your disposition for Steam is rather negative, so the secondary option would be your BlogTV Chat. The hoster (you) doesn't have to be there, you can perma-OP people I believe, and it's not necessary to have an account (guests can chat aswell). These are my recommendations.

For the comments: The last-3 rule. It's harsh, but I think effective. Basically, you only check the comments of the last 3 sets you have uploaded. Whenever you add a new set, you check the then-fourth one one last time. It's a harsh rule, and certainly not elegant, but I believe this one keeps the communication-time management ratio in the good zone (I believe, I do not know sure).

And I would channel the requests into a PM-system. If you would try to funnel them into the channel comments
