LF-A thanks to Yamaha the sound of the engine was amazing, but for racing toyota must reborn the supra this car can't fight against german engineered, no mater what the japanese try to do the best at lower cost possible, for ////AMG The best or Nothing. The SLS is only very slightly heavier and it has a dual clutch gearbox which keeps the power on whilst changing gear, unlike the Lexus's single clutch unit. If you go to fastest laps and choose compare cars SLS beats the LFA on almost every stat. It even beat the LFA round the top gear track, not bad for a luxuary GT car thats half the price of the LFA
Considering the Lexus LFA has a single clutch transmission opposed to the dual clutch transmission in the SLS, and a smaller less powerful and torquier engine, the LFA did quite well if you ask me. Both are my favourite cars so I am happy.
You idiots no noting about cars!! The LFA(great automobile btw) has been out classed. The Mercedes M159 is in another league. It's torque is so broad that it's rockin' long before this high reviving v10 can reach half of it's potential. At just barely over 2000 rpm it's matching the LFA''s PEAK torque rating... and that's from the wheels, not the said specs. It's all about how much of those specs can reach and stay at the ground. Check the dyno sheets and get back at me suckaz!!

I'd take a technologically advanced F1 formula pedigree Mercedes Benz all day long. AND I would save around $200,000 which I can use towards other business ventures. The LF engine does sound beautiful. One of the sexiest sounds in the game, but if I'm concerned about "exhaust notes" I'll would just go with another F1 Formula pedigree= Ferrari & still save money. Lexus should have taken this car concept & exhaust sounds & mass produced a $60k Supra. They would have been very successful.

The reason why LFA got behind is because it has an automatic system that put out its spoiler, which creates a drag and air friction, meaning it's speed is deducted by 4mph - 6mph... They should have turned off this system first...

SLS = 650
LFA = 480
The SLS is only very slightly heavier and it has a dual clutch gearbox which keeps the power on whilst changing gear, unlike the Lexus's single clutch unit. If you go to fastest laps and choose compare cars SLS beats the LFA on almost every stat. It even beat the LFA round the top gear track, not bad for a luxuary GT car thats half the price of the LFA

Considering the Lexus LFA has a single clutch transmission opposed to the dual clutch transmission in the SLS, and a smaller less powerful and torquier engine, the LFA did quite well if you ask me. Both are my favourite cars so I am happy.

You idiots no noting about cars!! The LFA(great automobile btw) has been out classed. The Mercedes M159 is in another league. It's torque is so broad that it's rockin' long before this high reviving v10 can reach half of it's potential. At just barely over 2000 rpm it's matching the LFA''s PEAK torque rating... and that's from the wheels, not the said specs. It's all about how much of those specs can reach and stay at the ground. Check the dyno sheets and get back at me suckaz!!

The funny thing is that even selling the LFA at 400K, Lexus stated that they will never make a profit from this car because of all the technology used to build it. The car would have to cost at least 600K for them to make a profit. If you don't believe me even the drivers from Top gear stated this while testing the car out. Thats why I believe what donisthabomb1 says is true. Most likely to make it a rare supercar instead of making money.

I'd take a technologically advanced F1 formula pedigree Mercedes Benz all day long. AND I would save around $200,000 which I can use towards other business ventures. The LF engine does sound beautiful. One of the sexiest sounds in the game, but if I'm concerned about "exhaust notes" I'll would just go with another F1 Formula pedigree= Ferrari & still save money. Lexus should have taken this car concept & exhaust sounds & mass produced a $60k Supra. They would have been very successful.

The reason why LFA got behind is because it has an automatic system that put out its spoiler, which creates a drag and air friction, meaning it's speed is deducted by 4mph - 6mph... They should have turned off this system first...
Either way, i don't care if the SLS is faster in straight line, because this thing is very dumb when it comes to drifting or sliding... Unlike LFA, you can drift in the snow...
